^ dos equis ambar... awesome beer

i just paid for my pope DP, #20, A.K.A... the guy who gets everybody a $25 refund!

Sweet $25 dollars towards the exhaust mounts.. Lol. Still trying to find a shop to custom make the exhaust (that isn't crazy). One shop quoted me $1,500 I laughed and walked out.

tried removing the IACV to rule out my issue just to see that they are pretty much already stripped and a freaking screw extractor won't even bite that crappy soft metal. Hoping to find a throttle body with sensors at a local junkyard tomorrow and just swap the whole thing out before I push my car off of the nearest bridge.

well if that doesn't work let me know. I believe I have a complete TB laying aroudn some where

We actually down graded. She had a 2012 sonata but I hated the car. It couldn't move out of its own way. Lol.

just left the junkyard and today is starting off pretty good. A 01-03 protege was recently dropped at the yard. It even still had up to date registration and state inspection stickers on it. Needless to say, I wanted to take the entire engine home to prep for a build. But anyways, since the IACV on my car is being a PITA, I took the entire throttle body with sensors and is actually in pretty good shape. I also took the coolant overflow since mine is cracked. Was going to take the MAF too, I was surprised it was still there. But I already have two now. One more wouldn't hurt. I may go back and **** that car for parts just for the hell of it sometime in the near future. I really hope this fixes my problem though. I tried snatching the EGR while I was there but was running low on time and had somewhere to be.

edit: ******* lost!!! swapped my throttle body for the one I just got with TPS and IACV already attached and the car still won't ******* run!!! I even limped it out of my driveway and drove around the block a few times thinking maybe the ECU will kind of catch on but nope, the car dies every time I come to a stop or shift too slow.

Just got done with new act clutch after 6 years with the old exedy. Can't wait for dyno/tune on the 14th. :D

So, just smoked my car for an exhaust leak and found nothing major. But we did find that one of the studs in the manifold were missing and releasing smoke when giving it gas. Would this be enough to cause an idle problem?

I ran my car with a missing bolt and a snapped bolt head on another bolt and she ran fine and idled perfectly. But, it is still possible

I wouldn't think so, I ran my car with a missing bolt and a snapped bolt head on another bolt and she ran fine and idled perfectly

s***. I just recently replaced the WGA a few days ago with the ATP replacement along with new vacuum line, but didn't help (although it boosts much better). I keep having a super low idle as well as a distinct whistling noise whenever I let off the gas. Even when I just put it in neutral when costing to a stop the RPM's dip real low, but I don't hear the whistling then.

Well yesterday I broke it....pretty bad......lost traction on tail of the dragon....the tail came around and I clipped a Integra. Everyone is ok.

I know I said this already on the BaceFook but that sucks bro. Your MSP was a pretty nice example of the car. I know you also said it's fixable. Still going to go that route?
