What have you done to your MSP today?

So don't bother with the stock ic.... I have already cut 2 of the pipes up, the U shape one and I think a 90 dgr angle one.... But still have all the rest and prob could use the cut up,pieces as well, for the most part.. how long should it take to do the whole project for the FMI ? And I'm still not sure what to do with the 2 sensors and hook up of BOV, its on a flange already (wich sucked ) other than that do I need anything elts for Instalation ?

It should take an afternoon if you have it all planed out. I'm not sure what 2 sensors you are talking about, I know there's the intake temp sensor that's in front of the maf, you can drill a hole in the pipe or just put in a zip lock bag and keep it off to the side. You'll have a vac line go from the bov to the intake mani or vac block if you chose to get one.

Not sure on what i should get for a boost controller, dont have $200-300 to spend on a greddy or and thing like that.... prob go with a manual but does it matter wich one it is? like something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perrin-Perf...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item43aadb3b74 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manual-Boos...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2eb9439276 ....

Until you have supporting mods you shouldn't touch the boost unless you want to join the zoom-zoom-boom club

You got it, he's talking about the IAT and the MAF.

X a billion.

If I could go back in time I probably would leave mine stock. Although I do love my 505 IM.

Be honest with yourself... no, you wouldn't. I traded up the MSP on a car making over 3x the power (should be plenty right!), telling myself (and in one of my larger mistakes, my fiance) that I'd do intake, exhaust, a shifter, a splitter, and maybe a couple other things, nothing major, and be done.

Fast forward 7 months:
Intake, and exhaust... check.. on the car when bought.
Splitter.... check
headers
catch can
sway bars
2.5 sets of wheels/tires (anyone who knows me knows this is my mandatory minimum)
coilovers... all check.. plus some stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.

intake mani
catless mids
cutouts... in the plans.

Plus I picked up a $2300 winter beater to keep it all nice.

Hmm... guess I need a shifter too.

Point being... enough is never enough.

I'm going to have to fight myself come tax time not to "blow" it all... if you know what I'm saying.

My Driver's front door lock was giving me trouble today. A couple times it wouldn't unlock but then it would work fine. I don't want to buy a new actuator but I know that has to be the problem. Oh well I guess I will wait until it's completely broken.

one of the sensores is in the stock air box.. AIC maybe.... and the other is in the stock piping.. has the hose that goes into the engine.... ? and not to sure if i have it all planned out for the most part, was going to try and attemted it now, but not 100% if i should lol Still dont know what hose the bov should conect to as well... I'm a mess HA might atemt to do the valve cover gaskets... if its not to dif to do thats is lol , to many projects was gunna do my wheels today, jack is at my Brothers house.. go figure.... so anyone wana come over and do my FMI for me ! lol

im about to say yeah ill just keep it stock at thios point if its just gunna cause more issues lol but i like the BOV sound and want that lol and already have the FMI kit... and need/want after market intake as well... sooo i guess do it all.... Need to get some more pep into this thing, or what the point of the car right ... ?

I should install mine...one day I'll get to it

just a heads up. pull the old one off and press the new one on.

I tried to pull off the stock pulley once and it bent the bolt on the puller so I took it back to the parts store and they didn't have another at the time so I just reinstalled the pump

use pb blaster and ounce you get some pull on the pulley tap with a hammer to get it moving. my old pulley is trash now but o well lol

Changed the oil and finally got around to swapping the front motor mount for the SLS Performance front motor mount:) only took about an hour total for everything, including having no idea how to hold the back of the bolt while unscrewing the nut.

Out with the old..

Very nice custom "two piece" design.

lol custom 2 piece. did the solid mount cause too much vibration at all inside the car?

There's a guy selling door lock actuators right now in the fs thread. I paid 15$ for mine.
I know you bought the one I need lol
