What have you done to your MSP today?

By that time ill prob blow my engine lol , so that's 2 yrs down the line anyways... I just want to get this other stuff all on there and have running good as well lol so what specifically am I connecting the BOV too ?
 
The BOV mounts to either the Hot or Cold pipe. Honestly don't mess with the stock SMIC. The FMIC isn't hard to install and it's worth it. Hardpipes on the stock IC is a waste of time.

I just dont wont to put to many mods on it, so i get more problems at the end... and i already cut some pipes to fit SMI... all i realy want is to have an aftermarket Intake and get the BOV on there... its on a 2 1/2' flange already, just looking to get a little more pep, I've seen my brother put so much money into his cars and just blow one engine after another, and im all set with that... so even if i get 10-20 more HP out of it thats fine with me, doesnt need to be a race car right now, wait till its paid off and its not my every day driverr. and the wife is getting mad im ordering all kinds of s*** for it too lol still need a boost gauge...Im just not sure on the hose the BOV would have on it... i know it goes BOV, MAF, then TB....
 
just put your fmic on so it can work more efficiently. also, just drive the car nice and it won't go through any engines at all lol
 
Good news everyone! I just went to put my passenger mount back on, and apparently, my bro in law must have needed all my extensions, because he had them yesterday, and now they are not here.
 
I suspect that I'll be finding a damaged cam/head when I pull the valve cover. Already have a head lined up. I hate my car right now. Shoulda bought that 8...
 
Yeah I'm just gunna go with the FMI u guys talked me into it lol should I mount it under or in front of the frame dnt won't it being to low or sticking out to much as well... Still not sure about the hose conection for the BOV ....
 
Oh I'm also getting my SLS mid pipe in today, not sure on gaskets... Auto zone have me a metal flange type deal, advance gave me a normal gasket.... So whoes right ... Lol

Yeah so i found a place that would do my motor mounts, $150-200.... they also do performance parts and could run my FMIK not sure on price of that though, he said he wpould look into it.... I dont need anything elts other than the FMIK and the BOV to instale it right ? (parts whise, not tools)

Depends, you may need more couplers and clamps. Just tackle the job yourself. Paying people to work on your car is teh sux.
 
Plumbing my whole FMIC kit took me about 5 hours, with a hack saw. Power tools would have probably cut it down to 3.5 or so, and having a 2"-2.5 adapter for the turbo would have saved another half hour. lol Making a 2" hump coupler fit a 2.5" pipe was... a challenge.
