What have you done to your MSP today?

started tearing the engine down... and found the problem :)

and the rod is no where to be found inside lol
 
lol custom 2 piece. did the solid mount cause too much vibration at all inside the car?

It's really not that bad at all IMO, it's like a gentle massage for your ass. And I think after a week or so it will be a little less noticeable. I notice it moat at idle when the fan is on, but for the HUGE gain I felt it's by far worth $60. I really don't know why I didn't do this sooner, take off is so much smoother and solid and even my braking is better, I guess because the engine isn't being thrown forward. The whole car just feels more solid, just from this one itsy bitsy part:)
 
So I need to get them too? I was considering getting the side soon, I hear the rear is a b****, and the trans I dint even really consider getting, should I eventually though?
 
i just put in my awr's in yesterday i got the 88 duro's and yeah engine vibrations are noticeable but the car is so much more fun to drive now i was getting really good 2nd gear tire spins in spirited drives

I guess I'm in the market for the side, rear and trans now.. Damn money pit..
 
Well I'm saying that the resistance from the front mount will add stress to the other 3. So they will be worn out quicker.
 
Got my Mazdaspeed oil cap in the mail and installed it. Didn't think I had any red in the engine bay but it matches my Vacuum block perfectly.

did my valve cover gasket yesterday, painted the cover also with a high heat black pain, painted my mazda emblems with a flat black paint also. going to do my SLS mid pipe porob tomorrow when it comes in and hard pipes friday, just going to keep the side mount and later on up grade that. Wait to do the front mount when its paid off and through a bigger turbo in it, and when its not my daily driver lol

you'll need to go forged for that bigger turbo...
 
Did you get a cost for the kit? Only kit i see if a 2 oil filter thing and cost liek 250 bucks for it.

It was so long ago when I looked, but that sounds about right, but tue kit I looked at came with a case of Amsoil too, so it's not too bad of a deal. And yeah about the motor mounts, I guess that does make sense, I'll have to invest in some here soon, my front was demolished and didn't even know it so I guess the other ones could go just as easily
