What have you done to your MSP today?

I still say 25 lbs off the hood is not noticable in a 200 hp car.

Generally I'd say you're right, but that is weight right off the nose of a FWD car, which in turns benifits your F/R balance, and theoretically makes the car handle more neutral, and controllable. Also, it may not be much, but when added up with a few more things it can be significant.

I just transferred from a Suzuki dealer, and they had this carbon fiber stick on set for the radio trim and such. It was $300... yea I know dealer prices are always crazy high cause I work in parts, but I wouldn't even pay $10 for ******* carbon fiber looking stickers. I really don't see the craze about it, cause the performance is not justified by the cost. Not even close.

I really wouldn't benefit from a carbon fiber anything since it would be countered by all the extra parts I haul in my trunk waiting to be installed LOL.

The best place to save weight is directly at the wheels.

Hood, fenders, and battery relocation MIGHT give you a noticeable difference...

Hood, Fenders, Trunk :) the main weightloss for mine. haha It adds up in the end though people. All of it combined. But I also have a gutted trunk and ect. Im keeping my back seats in cause I think cars are ugly with them gone.

the brakelight bulb on my drivers side tail light is out. Which type of bulb do I need?

Take bulb out, read bulb numbers to see what it is, go to auto store to buy it. If no numbers take to auto store and compare.

Thats what I do.

So I bought a turbosmart FPR to assist me with tuning. Though to install it I need an adapter for our fuel rail. Only Mazda adapters I found on their website are for RX-7's.. anybody know where I might find one for the Protege? Or maybe the RX-7 adapters would work for our car too?

Won it for $1.00 + $20.00 shipping/handling

Okay, question:

I have a loud "whistle" coming from under the hood. I need to investigate it further, but it's a fluttering whistle, only when the car is under boost. It used to only be when it was cold outside and the car was cold, but now (in Florida) it sticks around for a while, even after my water temp has come all the way up. I don't smell any strong exhaust, but I'm guessing its a gasket around the turbo or something along those lines. Any ideas?
