What have you done to your MSP today?

Oddly... I'm still having an overboosting concern. I'm using the ATP Wastegate actuator and 2.5" i/c piping. Its spiking up to 10 - 12psi, and blowing the throttle body coupler off.
Part of it may be the configuration of the vac lines, as the previous owner ****** with em', so I'll post a pic later and get soe 2nd opinions.

But other than the worn out WGA, what else has anyone seen on the MSP causing overboosting issues?

??????

hmm they have some pretty good stuff. another good site for silicone parts is siliconeintakes.com they have really cheap prices but I ordered some stuff and it holds up just fine.

bought mine straight from mspsilver24 pm's him yesterday he sent me one straight back and said he had one or 2 left and gave me his paypal. I sent him money and it gets shipped to me today lol

I am not a huge fan of carbon fiber, but I love your hood... wanna sell it to me :) lol just kidding, the shipping would be horrible.

Speaking of shipping, I backed out on the ebay auction for the 03.5 front lip :( cause not only did I have to pay $275, but I had to pay shipping as well from California and it turned out to be at least $150 instead of the $85 that he quoted. So yea it was already painted blue, but for that money I could just buy a beat up one for cheap and repair / repaint it.

Some pictures from my times yesterday.
First off, here's a picture of me workshop. I work with one other man at Gorilla Race Engineering. We're a rotary performance specialist and all around import performance shop. Everything bumper to bumper, dyno tuning, and race car builds... we do it. There are 5 FD's in that pic, one's under a cover.

I tackled the clunk first lol. Nice to finally have that noise gone!

Then onto the wastegate actuator, exhaust studs, and timing belt. I must say... the FS-DE is about the easiest timing belt ever. Took all of 2 hours to do.

And all finshed up. Got my hands on an OEM heatshield. It was all rusty and brown, so I sanded it down and hit it with some high temp wrinkle black for s**** & giggles. Looks nice.

Next week is the clutch and flywheel, intercooler piping, AEM Uego w/b, and F/IC install...

Got some new toys today. well. one and a loaner. sri is mine, tekna is a demo loaner. havent decided if i wanna get it or just spring for a satajet 4000 B RP/ Iwata Supernova.
hoping to paint the lip of my wheels today and possibly get a few coats of clear/pearl on them. might be tought though cause we have to do a family costco run and anyone who has tiny children knows how much fun that is.

Changed out the front motor mount to a medieval, stock one was completely shot like the stock pass. mount was. I have never done any mod that has made a bigger difference in the performance of this car. It runs amazing and shifting has never been easier. Now I just need to replace the driver's and rear mounts and install my braided clutch line.

Also, clutch may be on the way out, it has been chattering and it smelled like hot/burning clutch when I parked the car last night.

When I changed out my stock MM for stiffer once, it gave a little more pep to the throttle response. Do you have all 4 or just the front?

Nice sata gun Valk! I'm using on older version of that gun. It lays down sooo nice. Just painted 2 fenders last night with it. I added a psi gauge and water blocker thingy on the line, works great.

Edit: all my new awr mounts are in and i'm loving life. My crappy stock front motor was toast. My signature sound catch can and coolant overflow are in there to and looking clean. Anyway, i'll snap a couple pics of the engine later on. Its coming together but I still need to tuck some unused wires etc to give it a nice clean look.

Wow man, he never responded me back. I don't like to deal with people like that but I will try again...

Found out today i can rock 17x9 et17 245/50/17 tire...**** yea. Also im running atmo vent with the stock Bypass valve, and stock intercooler/MAF meter placement. So far no serious problems. My idle will fall a little lower than usual after deceleration, but then again it did it before hand. Refitted my DG lip on passenger side, and put the stock grill back on. Now im just waiting on money for 3' V-bands to do my exhaust.

uhhh say what, you can fit 17x9 +17? i would love to see that. especially with that huge tire, your going to need a lift kit to fit those lol

These are both devilbiss guns. I use a couple SATAjet 100 B RP's at work to spray cabinet lacquer and clear but i wanted the SRI to spray stain/dye and i still need another gun to use for paint. my Jet 100 works great for paint. but its a 1.6 tip and im switching to a different product that flows a lot better, so i wanna get a really good 1.2/1/3 gun.

I dont need a super steller gun though. i never spray metalics unless its for my own projects, just need the most reliable fan i can get cause i do tint with it.

Basically i have to find a way to justify why two products in the same class are $300 different but both spray identically in most conditions.. and one dosent require you buy a $160 nozzel set when you accidently **** up the aircap....

Gold and silver pearl mixed into the clear, over gloss white and metallic silver base.

still have to put a yellow pinstripe to seperate the colors, another dust of pearl and final clear.

Got new tires on the msp friday. And yesterday I caught a stump in scratchnsniffs front yard(apparently everyone knows about the stump but me) and I destroyed my wideband sensor. Hopefully the plug on the harness side isn't damaged. Gotta love being low
Anyone know where I can get a replacement sensor for cheap? Will post pics of the carnage later

I..... I.... I... *cries* disgraced my car! I left it outside all night and didnt put it in the garage. Oh what have I done D:
