What have you done to your MSP today?

went down to the shop today and well.....theres a hole in my transmission casing. apparently you have to locktite the screws on the ring gear that mate to the differential. wish the how to would of said something or mfactory would of said something, cause all the screws came off and are now stripped

Um... yeah... locktiting internal drivetrain fasteners is generally a good idea... seeing as they're constantly immersed in lubricant and all...
 
yeah. the only thing i car about is the differential. i really dont care that there is a hole in the casing cause i have that other one.
 
Precisely why i didnt take the tranny appart when i did my clutch. That and not wanting to buy any more tools ect to finish up heh.
 
enjoyed driving around the MSP with cruise control today..



just kidding. for some reason my car keeps going like a toyota after i run the ac once and turn it off. if i never turn the AC on while driving, it never happens. after the AC has been turned off once, it doesnt matter if the ac is on or off. say its in 3rd gear and just driving around 25mph, you'll see ur rpm's climb up slowly and even be persistent doing this up hill lol.. i saw it go from 2000 to 2600 rpm today but i had to stop at a stop light. my gf finally saw it today after i explained it to her over the phone lol. this all started happening after we changed out all my belts and water pump :D on another note, today was a super hot 92F and my AC seems to not be as cold anymore either. it was colder on fresh air vs recirc.. which is mad weird. if i had my camera i woulda video taped it. maybe next time
 
yeah its weird. i have no clue what it could be. i'll make my own thread when i can get some footage of it

in my case i had to. but next time i take it apart ill know what to do and not guess.
 
i was just randomly thinking about the parts i bought for my msp and never installed. and eventually sold. let's see.
sls hotpipe, weapon r hard pipes, kartboy ss (although i have one in my msp now), perrin ss, mam catless midpipe, medieval dead pedal.

I still have s*** sitting in my basement pending install or sale...

greddy profec b, black steedspeed, retrofit hid's...but I'm short on time and money.
 
Oil and water pump installed. :)
