I am also getting a CEL for p0300 random misfire...changed the plugs cleared the code and it came back again. Car starts like s*** and doesn't have a constant idle, I think the EGR is stuck open causing the issue. I had cleared the code for the EGR flow like 4 times before the misfire code started.

Did you have anything apart recently?

well i finally got my baby back fro the dealer after 3 weeks took it to get the vvt replaced and the fuel pump the A-holes tried telling me that my mass air flow sensor was shot but i wasnt buying it my car only has 25k miles and thats bull they just trying to squeeze some doe out my pockets FU

Did you clean out the EGR any of the times you got the code?

No I just cleared it figuring it wasn't that big of a deal and now it's become an issue

^ I got the code like 3 times in a matter of a week so I went seafoam. That was on saturday and so far so good.

Yeah I'm gonna do that too, I got the P0300 and changed the plugs to ITV22's and the code came back. So figure Seafoam first and see what happens. If it comes back then clean the EGR.

I took mine apart and cleaned theegr valve, the erg line to the intake and the port on the intake. They was le' nasty.
