Done installing! I tried taking pics but it was too cramped in there, you can't see it. I still have the stock intake on, but I can notice the turbo spool up quicker and there is more even and smooth power delivery. Install took 5.5 hours with 3 guys.

there is often an opportunity to increase your perfomance. You are going to replace some wear items and this is a great chance. I can't tell you how many miles i waited to upgrade brake pads but it seemed forever before i could bring myself to justify removing the stockers. They really held up to my abuse!. The tires. I never liked the Bridgestones although they are rated well. My goal was to roll them up into smoke as often as i could. So i could upgrade. If it breaks upgrade, ifit wears out upgrade. That is my motto. Also i was able to get some wider and more grippy tires for MUCh less than the B's. Just a thought 08Cosmic.(hi)

Yea. I've been shopping for tires already and plan on going 225/40-18. I have decided on the Goodyear F1 assymetric because they are highly rated, on sale at Tire Rack and have a $50 mail in rebate on a set. I have 25,000 miles on my car, when can I expect to have to replace the brake pads? I don't won't to wait till the dig into my disk and have to replace them as well. I will get slotted rotors when I need to replace them.

Man those are serious tires! you will have a ton of grip. My issue was the way the B's broke away and the sidewalls felt funny to me when they started to roll over a bit. But i do miss how well they worked in the rain. I bought replacement pads about twenty k. I had them installed at just before 40000 miles. The front pads were gone but the rotor is in good shape. dammit. The rear pads had a little left and the rotors were also in good condition but i replaced them anyways just out of spite. If the tires are not breaking loose you are not pushing them hard enough! haha. I read about the ToD and wish to participate with you all some day or at least run it just because. Whats Skyway? and have you looked into rotors yet?
