What have you done to your MS3 today?

Why did u choose GHL over Corksport restrictless system.

GHL's reputation is top notch. Corksport has always made high quality parts for mazda's as well, but the sound/style of that exhaust wasn't exactly what i was looking for. Plus GHL has worked with my friends VW and I know they are super easy to work with and would send it right to my friends garage for the install

GHL catback is on!

I dont have a sound clip, but god damn, this thing sounds MEAN! It is loud and aggressive when ur on the throttle but barely there when your at cruising speed. I think it actually has less drone than the stock exhaust. It is defffffinitely a head turner.

Washed her... a good solid wash.... then of course... not 10 minutes later, hit a patch of fresh asphalt. Now I have oil steaks down both sides....

Well, today I got started with my suspension mods. I got the rear MS camber links, rear MS coilovers, shocks, springs, and Hotchkis ARB installed. The front is all disassembled ready for the front coilovers and ARB. Damn this is a lot of work.

Installed a boost gauge (first rice mod) and later today I am going to ground the throtle.

Grounding the throttle on a speed is silly. It is already grounded. The intake manifold is aluminum making a better ground than is possible with any wire.

I had seen a how to for grounding the throtle but guess that was for the regular 3. Oh well. Anything else that could use grounding? I have some extra 10 gauge wire laying around now.

Also finally put on my badtz maru mazdaspeed badge :)

I finished installing everything. It corners on rails.

You'll need more than 10 gauge, but consider doing "the Big Three" grounds, which will set you up for a more capable sound system without dimming. I imagine you'll need 8-4 gauge.

i painted my brake calipers red..it took me 4 hours! my first mod ever on any car..i have to c my car being driven on the highway now

Rubbed her dash and told her sweet she was after got me to work so quickly when I was running late...

LOL!! I'm sure she appreciated it.

As for what I did to my car lately, I repaired the second chip in my windshield. :( Almost 1 month after the first rock cracked it. I haven't even owned my car for 2 months yet and already 2 chips in the windshield. Amazingly, after they were repaired you can hardly notice them. Thing that pisses me off is I've been driving for over 15 years and not once have I ever had a rock chip my windshield but the first time I buy a brand new car, I get 2 within the first 2 months of owning it. (pissed)

Installed ms cai last night, went really easy. Im glad i didnt pay for mazda to install it. What a huge difference, love the way it sounds, and i do have a turbo!!!!!!!!(2thumbs)(2thumbs)(2thumbs)(2thumbs)

Did this 2 weeks ago but finally got pics.

Boost gague install and Badtz Maru Mazdaspeed badge.

What I did to my MS3 today doesn't matter to my kids

Well I just got back from the dealer. Got my oil changed and ECU flashed. That seemed to make a big difference in power. Got a good wash and vac. Then my wife took the car with the kids to her mom's and you would never know the interior was just cleaned. 3 kids under 12 will do that. They fight over the hump seat because they can see the speedometer from there. "Dad your speeding..."

Just brought her home

I just picked my '08 M3 i Touring up from the dealer. Haven't actually been home yet, as I had to go back to work. Also, it's raining so the dealer-fresh clean is already gone (on the outside anyway).

BTW, first time posting on the forum. Nice place we have here.
