What have you done to your MS3 today?

a few days ago I installed the TWM short shifter. I ordered a larger TMIC. I think I'll start socking money away for the possible purchase of the Vishnu stand alone once it's PnP. If it never becomes PnP, I'll spend that G on hookers and blow. It's win/win

how do you like the twm? Im on the fence if its worth the money or not...

oh and if u go the hooker route, three words of advice...supersoak that ho!

I think the short shifter is money. It's a change you make to the car that you will utilize every time you drive it regardless of how you drive it. It's not a set of super stick tires you'll appreciate every now and again. It's always apparent.
You actually pick up a little time with quicker shifts. That. 5 seconds tween gears is probably now .497 seconds. Those 3 1000ths add up!

jeez, are there openings for a sales rep at TWM? if so, i think i have an ideal canidate...

you definitely sold me, after i get my winter vehicle all paid for, that will go on my list of upgrades.

I ordered a Mazdaspeed CAI online. It was kinda an impulse, but I was going to get one anyways. I really went online to order the mazda oil wrench tool, and some filters, but I've had the CAI itch long enough.

I can't wait to install it, I know it will be a blast. I was gonna go with CP-E but, seems either choice you can't go wrong.

recived my MSD dash hawk. ive been playing around with it a little. still undecided if i got what i wanted. but thats generaly how the good things are with me, only time will tell.

waiting on my ship notification on my 3.5 ETS TMIC and 88 durometer pendulum mount from Protege Garage. (band2)

replaced factory trasmission oil w/ Redline MT90. Might be me, might be psychosomatic, but i swear it makes a difference in the 1-2 shift. it was the only problem i was having w/ the tranny, 3-4 were smooth and same now w/ 1-2, no more cap'n crunch synchro action.

replaced factory 9006 fog bulbs w/ Eurodezigns 6000 K purplish. not really that purple, more of a bluish look. still, night becomes day w/ the combined HID+fogs! (nana)

Today I installed my Sirius Sat receiver and switch box. The install was made a bit complicated because I also have the NAV and it lives where the switch box is supposed to go. So I stuck the switch to the firewall padding with double stick - I am not sure it will stay, but it was the only thing I could think of at the time. If I hear clunking from under the dash I will know what it is and have to do something else.

Installed my MS CAI yesterday. The install went pretty well, and took maybe two hours. I love hearing the turbo, especially fun when passing and shifting gears just as you pass... makes the nice "HISSS.... I'm a turbo" sound.

I have to get used to the sound a little more, as its much more airy than I expected. I like it, but I wish it add more growl at lower RPMs. Any intake I've installed made more deep tones, this one is different. I'm happy with it though, and I feel the ECU is starting allow more power.

Went a little on the jdm side with the debadge, rebadge, and a little on the sleeper side :D

debadged the mazdaspeed3, and rebadged with the mazda, axela badges :D and i also threw the jdm leaf badge

The "JDM leaf badge" are you kidding. Why don't people do a little research before they just throw stuff on their car. Thats called a Soshinoya Badge, It's a badge used in Japan to symbolize the drivers experience. In this case yours mean your a new beginner driver.

i never knew what those things meant, but for many people on this forum, the beginner driver badge probably isnt too far off :)

I see them here in town. I thought it was a yard dart sticker. I was getting amped over it because I love to ******* play yard darts.
