What have you done to your MS3 today?

Installed a OEM Ipod intergration kit! Seems to work decent, I need to reorganize my ipod to make it easier to sort through things. It took about an hour after it was all through. It could have taken less time but me and my buddy were BSing half the time. It was $145 after tax at the dealer with a slight discount. I had some mazda checks so I used those!

Heres some pics

Also smoothed out my airbox hole, turned out pretty nice like I hoped for!

How'd you guys get those Mazda checks? Lucky bastards!

BTW, that looks like a mess LOL! My parents would freak out if I had done that :P

lol honestly looking at the pic it looks like my car was in an accident! And Im not sure why I got the checks, they were just in the mail one day, PS WHOEVER SENT THEM I NEED MORE ;) ;) ;)

I whacked 1/4 inch off the back of my ETS TMIC separator plate. The back of the plate was just barely kissing the black plastic thing at the back of the engine compartment. Should have plenty of clearance now.

I vacuumed, and cleaned the interior in my Mazda3 for 3 hours from head to toe. Looks just like new! (yippy)

I installed yellow HB4 fog light bulbs, and these neat little LED 194 bulbs i found at my local crazy japanese department/grocery store. they have 2 leds in them, a white 5mm led over a smaller 3mm blue led.

hey i like those man. good job.
is theremore light output out of those yellow fogs? i am always complaining at the lack of output form my fogs.

yeah they are alot brighter, of course they will never be bright enough to drown out the HIDs, but definitely brighter

Tonite I polished the part of the intake pipe where the BOV connects. What a bit@h! Grinded down the large seam, a lot of sanding to get everything smooth, went over with the rubber wheel to get out the grit marks and pits, and then finally a lot a lot of polishing, MY BACKS KILLING ME!!!! Lol but Im very pleased, I wasnt able to completely finish, but its great motivation to do the rest that I have planned, including part of the valve cover and intake maifold, and somee pipes. I figured I want to have all the metal under the hood polished, looks much nicer! After I finish everything in the next week or so it should look pretty impressive under the hood!

I need to hear from the forum on this one. I just installed the TMIC to go with the MS CAI..... The torque is sick! New problem which i imagine will be solved with the Rear engine mount..... when I'm on the car heavy and shifting Somthing knocks... If I drive it easy no problem. I know its the mount. My question is how much damage is done if any from not having the mount. I have it ordered but I haven't received it. ALL COMMENTS APPRECIATED.

I dont' know my friend but this is exactly why this was the second thing to be replaced with my AWR. I would just lay off until you get the mount installed.

That's an easy one: If you're sure it's the mount, BACK OFF!!!
It seems only common sense to me.

Cleaned up my TIMC

I cleaned up my TIMC installation. Cleaned up some of the grubby metal. Trimmed 1/4" from the back of the plate to avoid hitting the plastic at the back of the engine bay. Added some weatherstripping to fill the gap between the cooler core and the plate; I don't see losing some of my precious cooling air through the gaps when it could be going through the core. Added Mazdaspeed logo.
