What have you done to your MS3 today?

Why is it still married? I thought it was closer to $400 to have unmarried. Why is it still married.

His MS6 was stolen off of a dealer lot after getting serviced. All of his aftermarket stuff was taken off just before and never got a chance to unmarry the AP. I pretty much got the AP for free so either way, its still a good deal.

all of you stop ******* double and triple posting

I think its the forum....that s*** happens to me constantly

THIS......

I went with 225/40/18 to go on my enkei Ekm3 18"x7.5" rims. I was on the fence with going with a 235 on a 7.5"rim and if I would have rubbing issues in the back.

I am running 225/45/18's and on a hard turn or with a full load in the car it rubs, so you probably would have had a rubbing issue with the 235's.

Thanks to Lara's God-like Photoshop skills, she came up with the following (this is not my car, this is speed3driver's)

MMBoost_XXR.jpg

I ordered the wheels today along with the following:
-spacers
-hub-rings
-5k hid bulbs for headlights
-4.5k hid kit for fogs
-lamin-x blue foglight overlays
-denso itv22 spark plugs
-carbon fiber mirror covers
-carbon fiber valve stem mazdaspeed caps
-Dr. Colorchip paint fix kit
-chrome turn signal surrounds (will be sanded and painted black like the ones street unit offers)

Basically did a bunch of smaller accent type stuff, things I have been wanting to do for a while. I haven't touched the car since I bought and installed my CX Racing FMIC back in August, and since I sold my blue wheels back in November. The wedding and new house has taken all mah moniez!Q!1!11!!1

Next up, I will be ordering 215-40-18 BFG KDW 2's, going with a bit of a baby stretch (18x8.5 wheels), but nothing extreme. Then will be lowering the car even more, and dialing in everything. When it warms up, it will be getting some paint work done. Repainting both the upper and lower grills black, along with 2-toning the roof, and re-doing my spoiler. It should all be coming together soon!!!

Thanks Lara again for all the photoshop help. In the end, your last one was the wheels I went with :)

Can those valve stem caps lock on there with a set screw or something? As much as I like a nice looking cap, I'm equally as nervous about theft

I'm just glad I could help! I'm super excited to see how everything turns out. =)

Washed...which in turn made it much easier to see the hail dents. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on this whole "clean car" thing

Funny how a "dirty car" buffer changes from the first day of owning and a couple years and some damage later. At first my dirty car buffer was like 1 or 2 days before another washing. Then the gap kept opening up. Now everytime I do clean it, like weeks at a time, I can't wait until it gets dirty again to help hide the dents

heres what else i got back this weekend too. (its a clue)

I had a new bushing pressed in my old 2 piece SU RMM for resale purposes. Since im running the SURE torq R3 now. looks almost brand new minus a little surface rust on the 2 allen bolts.

thermal barrier

engine block/head = high temps
metal intake manifold = high thermal conductivity

heat from the block causes the manifold to get really hot, increasing BAT's, the gasket reduces this heat transfer

what's so special about the gasket? am I missing something?

It takes the heat transfer back and forth from the block to the intake manifold out of the picture. TIG = Thermal Intake Gasket . Lower temps are always better

EDIT: This guy ^ beat me to it. Good work
