Well I give up on trying to maintain my cars exterior. I try harder than anyone I know. The harder I try the worse it is. I have class in the morning so I always get an end spot so nobody's door can reach me. I can count the times I have been forced to park in a "normal" spot on one hand. Yet everytime I am penalized. I have about 4 door dings and today I found a scratch on my car about 5 inches long. Its on the section of the car between the drivers door and the top of the wheel well.

I parked this morning in my usual end spot exhausted from pulling an all nighter studying for 2 tests. Only to find this crap when I get back. Looks like someone did it un purpose. I don't understand. I look at other cars in the lot and they have no dents at all . . .

Sigh ... rant over.

yea its defin different. i think i might be trading my forge in soon for an HKS valve. just to change it up

my fog lights work all the time now,they no longer work with the factory system and are on until the car shuts off, so that means

fog lights on /no lights on

fog lights on/ parking lights on

fog lights on/ headlights on/ parking lights on

fog lights on/ high beams on.

maybe ill do a how to this spring, it was super easy to do.

i didnt think you could squeeze a 16" onto the speed.. my 17"s appear to be a pretty tight fit

Just test drove the Jbarone SSP... do a little more tonight.. feels good.. very short shifts indeed.. I think youll be liking the results??

Anyone looking for a sticky tire cheap, Tire Rack has some Advan Neova AD07s for $99/tire, orig. $266 each. 225/45/18 size.

On that note, I know I went 225/40 when I replaced my RE050s, but has anyone went with 225/45s instead? Doing some size comparisons to a 225/40, it seems like it might be a better fit.

Steve, I'm rolling on 225/45/18 kumho ecsta spt on my Rx8 wheels, partly in fact because they were already on the used wheels when I bought them.
Anyways, I can't compare them to a 40 series tire as I've only gone from the stock ms6 215/45 to these 225/45 but I like the 225 stance and the way I can "feel" the road with these ... If that makes any sense?
Im prob moving up to a 235/40 next possibly a 245, but I have a little more research to do as far as fitment, effect on speedo etc...

Interesting thoughts on the 225/45s. I will most likely replace my Paradas with a 225/45 tire (Either Direzza SS or Michelin PS2s).

Cleaned the windows, wiped down the interior, and vacuumed it out tonight. Weather finally cooperated in getting some time to do it.

you are correct, they are 17"s they are a bit tight. However the balancing was a success and I no longer have a shake at speeds over 85

is that normal?? i mean my hks does it at very low boost1-5 psi but other then that it doesnt flutter at all.. should yours be fluttering even at high boost. fluttering at high boost seems to me like there would be a spring issue or a leak in the BOV.

I took it apart and cleaned it and put new synthetic grease on the sleeve. Its got the blue spring with 1 shim. Light throttle boost it always flutters. Wot and let off and its like a loud whoosh of air. I lost my stock bpv. Whats a good bpv other than forge? Besides HKS.

ive tried almost every bov made for our car besides Turbosmart, i have to say i like HKS the best. my forge never fluttered like that except at low boost but i think they all do anyways.. when i read your comment i thought that you were saying it does that all the time so i was concerned because its not suppose to unless theres something wrong.

Hmmm about that, my forge came with the 2 other springs (yellow, red) and 2 shims... I'm running it the way it is now how it came out of the box. No problems, sounds great .

I guess I'm still a noob lol, I'm not sure when/why I'd have to switch the springs or add shims?

Yellow is the softest. Blue is in the middle followed by red being the hardest. Red is to hard unless you run very high boost.
