What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

yea i love the magnaflows sound. ive heard it melts our rear valance though.

there was one guy on here (forget his name) but he cut the plastic and took the metal things out on his magnaflow it looked really nice.

Taylor ran this exhaust for a while and it never melted his valance.

Not sure what you mean but "cut the plastic and took the metal things out..."
do you mean, cut the exhaust ports in the valance to allow the magnaflow muffler tips out? My magnaflow tips are cut off, so it looks bonestock still. not sure why you think they melt valance, seems no hotter than my stock setup.

Prolly was an isolated problem. 1 outta 100 or somethin.

let me find some pics of what i mean lol. and even yes it does melt the valance. i saw chief posted on the 3rd or 4th page saying that it melted his valance a little bit.

i looked up a bunch of magnaflow user reviews...
i found maybe 3 stories out of 50 regarding that issue.
And each time it was purely because the tips that come with the system were not aligned correctly, and were touching the sides of the valance exhaust ports.

every person who said they were aligned correctly, or had cut the tips so that the muffler tips sat inside the stock tips didnt have a single issue, ever.

i have the cpe single exhaust no cat only a muffler. its beast!! on the highway cruising its not to loud. but with the windows down in a tunnel at WOT in a stage 2+ tune it sounds wicked

cpe single exit isnt too loud when cruising. I would say just as quiet as it was with the magnaflow. but a lot louder when taking off fast. Mine rattles like a SOB. I need to take it back off and re-install. It was a PITA to slide one over the other. My rear exhaust hanger rubs on the frame and makes for a lot of rattling and vibrations. When I take off making a left turn the whole car vibrates. So I am not sure what exactly is hitting when making left turns.
