Sign up here to vouch for bringing stuff to the meet. as of 7-25-05, no longer taking paypal donations for food, never got any interest. So sign up for some snacky stuff!

hey I can bring another cooler with drinks and all and a few different bags of chips and stuff to snack on anything else let me know and I'll see what I can do to help out.

Isn't it enough that I bring my beautiful self for you to all gaze upon?

No? Well, then I guess I'll bring some watermelon and candy. And a big ass cooler with ice if you need it.

just your presence will be great. food too will be even better! Another cooler will be good. Never know what we will need it for, and they can double as chairs...

I can bring non-refrigerant foods (chips, donuts, etc)

I can bring a cooler as well.

Should we bring our own drinks, maybe?

I will bring my flipflops, a case of soda (pepsi), ice, a cooler, chips and salsa for everyone, a sandwich for me, a 12ga for seagulls, and Mr. Snuffalufagus cause you all know that b**** is real.

I got you added. I am bringing a flat of water from Sam's club. If we can have some people bringing drinks, we can fill the coolers. I am bringing water for others. I think it works out best if we all bring stuff for everyone.

Bump for more people's input.

I'll bring a huge ass tub of pasta salad if everyone likes pasta salad... let me know. Besides that I can prob bring a big cooler full of ice (if) there is a need for it. We'll see as we get closer to the date. Looking forward to this one!

Cool! Glad to see more food being signed up to be brought, other than coolers with ice. :) EDIT: Not that coolers with ice is a problem! I am just saying we need food to go into the coolers for them to be useful

Is anyone bringing a grill? I can bring some chicken if so. Otherwise, we need more food for what I think will be 30-40 people.

When the time comes, if more food is needed I can make up some fruit salad or something. What we really need to figure out like raider said is if we can get a grill or not. After that we're either talking chicken, hambugers, hotdogs... (OR) sandwich meat/cheese etc.

I was just thinking that if the most of us are going to meet up at one location and drive to the beach/park location, perhaps we could all stop at a Publix or something and grab what is missing. I personally suck at preparing picinic food so it would be easier for me to grab 17lbs. of southern style potatoe salad from Publix/Winn-Dixie. And I wouldn't have to carry it up in my trunk.

I am not sure if dogs are allowed or not. I called the Volusia County Beach Patrol or something like that for basic information last month. I would give them a call, but I am swamped at work during the day.

no worries, i'll give them a call...thanks!

Generally, no. Dogs are usually not allowed on the beach. However, in many parks, it is not very strictly enforced.
