What are you bringing to the Statewide Meet (July 30th)?

If grilling is out, our best bet would be to just purchase deli meats/cheeses and what not. It could all be kept in the same coolers as the drinks and there is minimal picking up after. A pound of ham/cheese can go a long way...add chips and you got a meal. Throw in couple dozen Krispy Kremes and we have dessert.

I am totally down with buying a ton of deli meat and stuff. I got a Sam's Club ard. If people want to do a paypal donation, I am willing to get stuff there. OR, everyone bring stuff.

I'll be fending for myself. It'll be easier to keep our area clean and I'm picky when it comes to my food.

Eric, I didn't get up to Daytona over the weekend. I was all over Central Florida picking up various parts for my car.

With that said, is any of the other 25 or so people who are coming, who have not signed up, bringing anything? If you are bringing stuff for yourself, please let me know, so at least we do not have to expect to bring food or drinks for you.

I really do not want 6 or 8 people bringing food for the 25-30 people to eat. It is not fair.

So sign up with some food or drink you plan to bring.

Of course, if everyone wants to do their own thing, then let's do that.

Worst comes to worse, people who want to eat who didn't bring food can offer "donations" to the people who purchased food

I am willing to trade a bottle of ice cold water, for a set of Eibachs. j/k

I am going to bring stuff, and i am sure people will bring stuff for others. I just hope the meet is successful.

I am not much of a gamer anyways. Oh, and due to current reductions in the workforce, you are rehired as a contractor.

what's left that's needed?

i could bring sodas (cans(pepsi)) and chips(lays, cheetos, tortilla)

Chips and soda are a great idea. We have tons of coolers with ice signed up.

One thing I want to get the ball rolling on, is what the heck we will eat for the main meal. I think we may all end up swinging by a Publix for subs, if we do not organize soon. The main thing would be is that the beach may be out, due to lack of on beach parking. There is no local park nearby, either. So I am thinking we will do subs or something, as nobody volunteered to bring a grill.

I am willing to go to Sams Club and get roast beef, turkey, cheese and sub rolls (if they sell them). The only catch is that I am not willing to buy $75 worth of stuff on my own. I am willing to pick it up if people want to send me the $. The meat tends to be 6 to 8 bucks a package, and same with cheese. The condiments can be picked up there too.

If anyone is interested in me bringing down sub making stuff, let me know. I can take paypal. Let me know if that is an idea, and I will start a signup list for who is going to do that. With 30-40 possible people, we need a lot of food. Those who do not pay or do not bring anything, do not get anything.

if no one in that area can, i guess i can bring my grill if i can fit it in the car somehow

i think donations for food is a great idea

Yup. Those who are not bringing stuff,
