i mean the TAMPA crew and I are rolling that way.....and it seems NOTHING HAS BEEN DECIDED ON THE DAY....excpet that we are meet ing at the dog track......

what i need to know is:

1. What time are we meeting at the dog track.....what tiime are we leaving
the track?

2. Directions to the track.....just need address and ill mapquest it...

3. Whats going on after the the track.....beach, dinner....etc????
(noone can seem to make up their mind)

4. WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE DOING????

we need to finalize everything......its only 2 weeks away.....and nothing seems set in stone....

I think everyone sorts just disappeared the minute I suggested collecting money to go get food. I posted a response in the main thread for the meet already.

I think due to the lack of commitment from people to bring things to the meet, I will bring stuff for myself for food. I will still bring everything else as planned, and hope that people bring stuff.

Well, if it comes down to it, I'll do the same thing I did for the last meet.

I'll just buy all the food, and take it on good graces that everyone else with either bring some food or contribute with money. Wasn't too bad last time. I only took a hit of maybe 30-40 bucks after most people gave me money (I spent over 100 on food, drinks, charcoal, and the big ass cooler). So like I said, if it comes down to the day of the meet and we don't have enough, I'll cover us.

I'd rather everyone get something to eat and drink together than people coming and going constantly to go buy lunch somewhere.

It would be cool if we all could pony up cash to get meet to grill, but as it stands, everyone wants to go to the beach as of right now. No grilling on the beach unless people bring a grill.

After watching Rider69 get burned for hundreds of dollars for Sonny's that people signed up for and never paid for at the last big meet, money up front is my way of going. But as of right now, it looks pretty shaky as to if anyone wants to go in on sub making food. So I really don't know. If you do end up going and getting stuff, I will throw some bucks your way when I get there, or paypal it to you before if you want.

I just looked back at the original signup sheet to update it, and it looks like we really only need sodas and main dish food. Coolers with ice is covered, and people are signed up for chips and doughnuts and stuff. Looks pretty good, but we need meat and stuff for the main food. Will see how it goes until the meet.

Where does the Tampa crew meet up at? Im in the Tampa/Brandon area and would like to tag along if its alright. This is going to be my first meet so it would be kinda cool to roll down to Daytona together. Let me know. Thanks.

I would be down with bringing fruit, lunch meats, sandwich rolls, bread etc....

Maybe we should bring chairs, sunblock, beach towels too??

steve_protege....as stated above us TAMPA and local area members are gonna meet at the hardees.....and ride to the meet together.....

the hardess is at the 1st exit when u get on I-4.....from I-75......as soon as you get on I-4 take the 1st exit......and take a right......you'll see the Hardees's on your left as you drive donw the street....

you are more than welcome to meet up with us and ride to the meet....only problem i see you having with this.....is we are planning on meeting at 9am....and leaving for daytona by 9:30am.....so if you are staying until 10:30ish for tickets.....you're gonna have to roll solo......but if you can get someone else to buy tickets.....or get em later or the next day.....we would love to have ya roll with us.....just let me know

guys if i come i wont be eatting unless i bring myself something i am very particular about the foods i eat.. but i cant wait to see everyone.. i will be traveling SR40 all the way there..since there isnt anyone in my area going but me.. so i will be coming alone. if you decide to go onto the beach i will not be joining ya b/c i will scrap at the parking ram and i will not take my car on the beach but i will be meeting ya at the dog track..

Hey Bobby, I will be taking SR 40 too! Want to meet up? James from the FMC site lives near SR40, and I think I will meet him around I75 to go to the meet. have not talked to him lately.

I am coming from Gainesville/Alachua. If anyone is going to come from up north of the Turnpike, click HERE for directions (sort of, it is to the raceway, basically there). Also, hit me up on aol im if you want to cruise down together.

I think the beach may be out due to lack of parking. You are also not the only one who will leave behind car parts, although I am not one of them. We will figure it out at the meet.

Are you particular about what you drink? I will be bringing water and stuff. Feel free to bring sodas.

Cool! I updated the list. Let me know if anyone needs to be added to the list. If I do not get the interest in the Sam's Club trip for meal food by the 25th, I will scrap that plan, and focus our attention on the drinks, chips, water, snacks, etc. No big deal.

I've got an idea. If we're all talking about meeting at the Dog Track and driving down A1A, why don't we stop somewhere for lunch as a group? I'm sure if we find a big enough resturaunt and give them advanced notice, it won't be a problem.

We could stop by the mall that's down the street and go to the food court. I can't imagine that someone couldn't find something to eat out of all those choices.
