Welcome to Canada!

damn, wish that was my driveway. I'd love to keep the mp3, and get the speed as well. Have his and her MAzda's :)

We got a lot of rain here the beginning of the week. Had major floods everywhere, now it's snowing again....like wtf is this all about? Strangest winter ever. I'm usually getting ready to put the summers on now, but it looks like I gotta few weeks yet.

sucks.

yes...snowy weather....just cleaned the MP3 filter from the injen CAI on wednesday...the insurance is on for both vehicles since we thought spring arrived...both cars would not normally ever see snow...oh well good thing both are waxed....it is his and hers mazdas over here...

As for MOM...I don't think we would go anyway...wife not into it.

yuck....

Montreal here....should get the same stuff as Toronto folks tomorrow.... eeeeeeeeewwwwwwww.....

As a kid, the snow was fun in Indy, Chicago, and Milwaukee. Now; I'm glad to be without it. I cannot imagine snow tires - especially on my baby. And driving in it - no thanks!

O.O; summer tires too.

It's hit winnipeg too. I throw on my summer tires, then the week after, boom snow.

I tried driving, umm...yea it is SCARY...you gotta drive slower than a lil old granny in a buick, and you still can't really turn or break properly on all the ice and snow.

Lucky I can still take one of my parent's cars when I need to go to go out.

Cursed snow. Damned weather reporters, they're NEVER right. But I guess it's kinda hard to predict weather in like more than a week ahead of time.

Freezing rain, icy roads, and people are still driving like maniacs down the 401.
Maybe thats why there is a car flipped over every 2 km...
I'm done ranting.

I had the harts on 2 weeks ago. Got stuck at the office last night and literally limped the MSP home. Drove at like 40 kmh on the Gardiner. Pulling away from lights, 1st gear, nope, 2nd nope, third, a liitle movement, had to keep the revs at like 1500 or less to even get anywhere. And the car always pulled (slid) to the right.

I'm glad i made it home with the Speed in one piece. I waited until 7:45 pm to miss rush hour ! My girlfriend wasn't too happy.

I took the subway to work this morning.

Since it's supposed to be bad the next week, i think i'm going to have to put the winter's back on tomorrow. No garage, should be pretty cold !

Worst part... i'll have to clean the Harts in the bath tub to get all the crap off them.

Great....just when i was getting used to looking at the wheels again.... back to the steelies.

You think she was pissed off when you were late coming home, wait until you clean your wheels in the tub! :D

We Torontoian's buy this car, just to slap on some steelies!!
Sucks, eh?

MS MSP - you clean your wheels in the bath tub? haha!
clean them outside! Do you shampoo and Condition them too? (rofl)

It's a little cold to be cleaning them outside don't ya think ? Can't exactly turn on the hose....i already have a skating rink in my driveway.

I think i may just park the car until next weekend as is. I'll be driving my girlfriend's Civic SI until the roads clear. I know if i put the steelies back on, it will be for a week, tops. Kind of a waste of time.

Funny thing, when i was limping home the other night in the ice. I was at a light and a guy in a WRX with steelies was behind me. I couldn't even move, and he went roaring past me having a great time! I was jealous there for a moment...i have to admit.

I drove 404 home last night, crappy weather and crappy road conditions but patience was the key...Didnt matter either cuz Im still driving the winter beater - I laugh at all you jumped the gun, but be careful those Dunlops are crap on ice/snow as some have already pointed out!

I was watching the news at 6pm and some kid in his TypeR with racing seats, etc needed a push and still wasnt moving - guess he doesnt love his car enough to drive it in this crap!

Its still snowing here in the Ottawa valley .aprox 20 cm(4 inches ) so far . It s supose to stop sometime tonight . I still have my snowtires on the car.

This is what we got after 2 nights or freezing rain.

We were supposed to get the same storm here today. Apparantly we got some wind over night, but I never heard it. Little bit of snow on the ground, nothing major so far.....I'm crossing fingers.

Were still supposed to get 15-20 cm tonight, but it's pretty warm still. I'm hoping I can get the RH's on this week since my winter tire is shot.
