Does anyone have any good websites where I can shop for white 17 or 18 inch rims? I know this may sound stupid but I don't know anything about the P5 cause I haven't done anything to it yet, I was wondering if I lower it what would be a good length to lower and will 18's still fit?

I dont know much about lowering your car....but I know this.....
18' are too big.....Our car is a turtle already.......with the 18's..............its gonna turn into a snail............17's are good enough.......my own opinion.......:)

I agree 18's are too big. 17's a a little big to put look awesome. The Rota wheels are great, you should look at those. They are light as hell for 17's and there is some one here that sells them or you can call Henry at Revolution Motorsports @ 715-834-5758 and he will hook you up with or with out tires.

I've seen 17's & 18's on our car and I think 18's look best with a mild drop (about 2"). If you go any lower then that you may run into problems. Most of the P5's I've seen at shows around town are running 18's and low profile tires (215/35). Of course down here in Atlanta if you show up running 16's or 17's everybody is gonna laugh at you....especially with guys running 19's on their Civic's and 20's & 22's on their SUV's....it's crazy!

I would call 2" a mild drop on a civic, but on our car, that's pretty low... With our body styling, we practically scrape parking studs at stock height! H&R has springs that drop 1.3" all around and Eibach does a 1.4/1.2 combo (or is it the other way around?) Either way, I think that much of a drop is best - gives you the lowered look without slamming your car like a rice-rocket. Between 17's and 18's I'm kinda torn...

Here in L.A. they're already putting 23's on their SUV's! They call them "Jordans" and it seems like they just keep getting bigger...

either get in touch with ARD from the site here or look at tirerack.com. They both know what they are talking about and have some decent equipment.
Just my $.10.

tirerack is pretty good. They're even distributers to smaller shops, and they're prices are very reasonable.

check out www.whalentire.com they got a good selection of wheels to fit our cars and decent prices i got my 17 inch rs limited rims and tires mounted and balanced ship to my door with the tuner lugs for 816.00.all the sites that everone listed are good too

I got my wheels from tirerack and they're awesome.

I found that wheelmax.com has alot of white rims. So you may want to check them out.

18's aren't too big. Rishie (ARD P5) is rolling 18's on his P5 and his car rides fine and still has good pick up since his wheels are quite a bit lighter than the factory wheels. Rishie has Ground Controls and Mazdaspeed struts. Sean (Wheelguru) is rolling 19"s on his MP3, he also has Ground Controls with a nice drop and his car has pretty good acceleration. So all I have to add is "don't knock it till you try it". Of course, I wouldn't recommend rolling 19's all the time, but the 18 are definately do able and if they're light weight, they'll be better.

I agree with Shawntwotone - check out the Whalen Tire web site, great selection and great prices. Also, when you enter the year, make/model info, they show only wheels that fit our car.

Just go all the way and get nineteens!!! :D
