put the order in yesterday afternoon, couldnt get a chance to call back, so i just placed the order online. i'm all excited about this now (yippy)

one more question for anyone who wants to answer it:

will putting high temp paint on the steel header stay at all? its 1200 degree, but i know the header will get hot as a whorehouse....just a whole bunch cheaper than getting it coated.....

just wondering if anybodyhas the catless downpipe installed along with the header ? If so what kind of gains are you getting and is it much louder ?

.....put some 1500 degree heat coating/paint on my shorty last week. i have one bolt jammed in my head (upper left). broke when i was tightening it. will come out easily when i remove the header, whenever that will be?

i am happy with gains from new header, new clutch and flywheel.....

hey jared, i was telling cfoley thaqt i have a whistling sound under WOT between 5000 and 6500. it sounds like it is coming from the fromt passenger side of my car. do you think it could be a leak from the upper left side of my header gasket where i have no bolt there. i guess it could be that, but it is only under WOT and between the small RPM range.

well i ordered mine last weds afternoon, and it came UPS yesterday, so that means about a week, maybe a day or two more to cali....

I have that sound too...All stock under the hood though(cept for removed intake resonator(shrug)

well my header is installed, but it sounds like s***!

i cant tell if i have an exhaust leak, or the gasket is gone or what...but it sounds absolutely terrible....

im gonna take it back apart sometime this week, hopefully i can fix it....

it's a coolant catch can. i have one, but i haven't put it on yet. it's a replacement for the stock coolant reservoir.

....i used this 1500 temp heat paint I got from Consumer Auto Parts for 6.99 a can. worked well and they have numerous colors.

much better than spending an extra $115.00
