I was the one who installed it at the install party Solo2 is referring to, and I must say that I really like it. One thing I prefer about this system compared to the other is that it uses flanges to connect the different pieces together. So far as I can tell, this one is well worth it, and sounds great. I got mine from cvrmotorsports, $550 includes shipping. Packaging could have been a little better, box was a bit beat up from UPS, but the contents were all well protected, which in the end is all that matters.

was it hard to install

the hardest part is cutting the OEM exhaust off, Jer3 can tell you better, as he did that part. Poor guy had to use a jigsaw, cause i forgot to grab my sawzall...but i didn't hear him complain (he was under the car where i couldn't hear him though....lol )

I just helped install the Vibrant. It went on perfect. Took like 3 try's to slip the rear peice (w/tip) over the rear subframe, gotta slip it in at the right angle.

Other than that, it's a breeze.

edit: oh, just one thing, wait to slip the exhaust on the hangers. The top flange bolts are next to impossible to get to to tighten them if all the hangers are mounted. We used a jack and 4 other hands to hold up the exhaust, while we bolted it together, then sliped it in the hangers.

Any thoughts....?

I know this is an "old" thread, but I am planning to order the Hiboost kit in the next cpl of weeks and was looking around the different threads to look for exhaust info. and came accross one thread that stated that Juan himself said that the Vibrant exhaust would probably not be good because it is 60mm and he recommended 70mm for his boost kit. Anyone recommend any other exhaust then? I was fo rsure going with the Vibrant system but now that I've read that I have no clue as to what the best combo is. Any ideas and or comments are welcome to help me make up my mind.
Thanks!
