More pics... They're basically laid out in reverse order of installation.
When you zoom in, you'll see that the pod is a bit grainy. I've mentioned this several times, that it is due to the rapid prototype process. Rest assured, the production pieces will be smooth as a baby's bottom.

Where on the vent will you be measuring? We should try and get a consistant gauge-point.

That looks great, I think even better if that silver 'outer-ring' could also come in black

They will be molded 100% black. I painted this unit to match as closely to the stocker as possible. Leaving it all black is definitely easier for me. If we're lucky enough to generate the demand, maybe I can offer it both ways.(headbang)

Wow, that looks great! Nice work. Any idea on possible pricing yet? I know it's still a ways away since you're not an AV, but have you tried to figure out what you'll sell them for?

Calling any available CX-7's and RX-8's in Michigan's "tri-county" area (Oakland, Macomb, Wayne).....
I need to get a good look at these vehicle's vents. I'd like to remove the left hand registers and get some measurements. I'm pretty sure that my Mazda 6 solution will work in both of these other vehicles. I need to get good measurements to confirm.
I'd also like to get a good look at the backside of the center vents (3 vents) housing to scheme a way to make one of my existing products work in those locations as well.
I'd like to take these measurements personally. I need to get my dimensions accurate to within a couple of tenths of a mm, and to get that accurate, I have to do it myself. Not that anyone else isn't capable, it's just that I know exactly where to measure to and from to get the proper dimensions I need.
So, who's up for it?
Thanks again everyone, and we are indeed VERY close to kicking this thing off!! Mid-to-late next week is when I expect to announce the product launch! I have to talk to the admins here also.
