vaccum problem

Hi guys, I think I have a vaccum issue.

The car is running fine, but sometime, my vaccum stock to 0 psi at idle. I tought it was my gauge but my profec and my FIC reading are the same. If i hit the gas, the vaccum go to 10 vac, then freeze back to 0. It's doing this 5 minute, then come back to normal.

What do you guys think?

Maybe a leak in the vacuum line going to your gauge? That or a faulty gauge. I can't imagine why hitting the gas could possibly give you more vacuum though.

You say it does this for 5 minutes and then goes back to norm, what is a normal reading for you?

You'd think with a vac leak that large you'd be throwing a check engine light? Anything coming up for that?

I'm running the vaccum from a T plug on my FPR vac line.
My normal vac reading is about 20 - 21 vac.
I don't think it's a faulty gauge since my Profec AND my fic all read the same thing - 0 psi.

When the gauge is bugging, if I hit the gas a bit, it's like the gauge is de-bugging, then bugging again.

It'd be running funny if it was really at 0, I know my car gets quite a bit slow when I drive it after letting it sit for a long itme. That's when the rings haven't sealed well yet and I sometimes only get 5-6hg vac. After driving the car some more it will go to 21-22.
