Updated Vehicle Mileage and reported Problems...

Alright guys/gals letshear how many miles you have now and if you've had to go in for any warranty work or repair...

I have 13,242 miles as of today.

I've taken it in once to have the a/c checked and my free balance, rotation and alignment at 12,000 miles. I still enjoy driving the P5 as much as I did the day I brought it home!

I have 15000+ miles and happy to report no problems! (Knock on wood). The only problem I've had was a broken rear shock due to the addition of a larger diameter rear sway bar. But that's it. It could be me, but, my car feels a bit faster now that it is worked in. I too still enjoy driving my P-5 as much as the day I bought it. Maybe more.

12,794 miles as of today. My only problems so far: the number 2 fan position would randomly stop working while in a/c mode. Dealer replaced the fan relay only to find out later that it was a loose electical connection under the passenger side dash, and the cold start rattle that Mazda continues to refuse to address even though its beginning to make some of my interior piecies start to rattle in unison

18000km (11185.2 miles), no warranty problems at all, small rattle behing glove compartment (fixed myself), replaced lower front grill destroyed by golf ball sized stone, oil changes and fuel ups. Gas mileage is low though. Would love a sixth gear...

Love this car. No more Honda's for me.

about 10,000 miles... problems so far...

1. squeaky noise coming from front windows when partially down... just needs to be lubricated...

2. rough engine when the car is cold... seems to be the norm with the mazda engine...

I just hit 2000 miles yesterday, and the only think that is wrong was a blown fuse, other than that, it's perfect.

14,600 miles - only unexpected maintenance/repair was driver side power window failure that was repaired under warranty.

A little over 25K miles and only problems so far were a blown resistor for the dash lights (partially my fault), and paint thats not worth the gun it was sprayed with. Other than those two issues its been typical mazda reliablity.

10500 miles. Only problem was stuck brake caliper, that was replaced under warranty.

I got 12,800 miles on mine and only problem I had besides the cold start was a cracked driver side outer boot, but I think that might be because I travel up to CT once a month and with all the road work they are doin their are tons of rocks just a possibility. Hey BK's Black P5 just wondering did your driver side window sound a little funny before it died, because I believe mine might be sounding a little different but it still works and not significant enough I felt to bring it to the dealer yet.

10 months and 9,174 miles,,,,,
-a/c froze up in July ...warranty
-cruise control quit in August....warranty
-creaks and pops in sunroof headliner are constant now
-the cold start/cold engine driving rattles and buzzes
-the indecisive transmission computer....

Hoping that is all,,,,but still fun ...yeah!

hello everybody, i'm a new member, have been reading stuff at this forum for months though.

got my P5 last Sept, currently have ~17000 miles.

my driver's side window started to make weird noise a few months ago too, esp. when i'm 'rolling' it up/down. as time passed it became really consistent, even when the window is completely shut. report that to dealer when i took it in for 15000k service, they said it's the window regulator and replaced that.

after that, the very same door started to have a ticking noise somewhere near the lock. took it in this week, the technician checked and repaired the 'door striker' (copied from the receipt). the manager was busy so i didn't bother to ask when i got my car back, anyone knows what is the 'door striker'?
