I'll get you pics tonight. There are pics on the KB site. I think it's work the extra ching considering that you're saving off the price of the knob alone. The color dark gray matches the Ti look on the dash pretty well.

The only problem I have with the knob is that the logo may end up loosing adhesion when it gets hot. In-car temps here in Houston get up there pretty high in the summer.

shouldnt be a problem
the logos are made from some automotive grade adhesive. we've had the one on my RS for a few years and it gets 110 at work in the summer.

right now we have spoolin as our distributor in Canada. looking for some other ones too.

Sorry, I still don't have the pics for you. The logo looks just like Tom's logo in the previous post. Very cool. The dark gray knob doesn't quite match exactly, but looks good. I think the silver might be a closer match. Pics coming soon.

Holy crap! that is short.... I like it . The only thing that I'm not shure about is the color of the logo, I'd prefer a darker blue, but I'm just being to damn picky.

I have a few weeks to think about it, but I'm leaning towards getting the super combo (2thumbs) .

Tom: at your site you have knob color choices like "silver/blue,
silver/red", is the red/blue part the logo? also, "hard" is the one houpro5 got, right?

yes
the knob colors are clear( silver) black and hard( like the one in the picutre) sort of Ti look.
the logos are
blue red and black
happy shifting

Does the bushing kit and short throw shifter improve or eliminate the notchy 1-2 shift?

Good question here ... does the SS do anything for the notchy 1-2 shift? And what is the deal with that anyway? I just got my new 2002 Silver P5 on Friday! WOOOO. I am grateful you are all here sharing your wisdom and experience.

I don't think it did anything to help the 1-2 shift. That's probably an internal trans thing.
