i did made my mind, im staying with the speed, it wasnt worth paying that much more money, insurance wise it wasnt that bad, im 35 so the insurance premium stayed the same. it was tough though, the evo was in perfect shape in and out.

Smart choices aren't always the easy ones. IMO, the EVO would have been nice....but the speed is more than worth it considering the alternative payments. Best bet is to use what you would have paid towards the evo on the speed 3 payment and pay it down faster

Not that I would ever race...but i did "play" with an Evo MR the other night...and lets just say the outcome wasnt pretty...I have a test pipe and BPV only not even an intake yet (cause corksports is dragging their heels)...and from a 70 roll...as I said it wasnt pretty..surprised me even...

several factors influence my decision, i have spent a good amount of money in mods on the speed plus i know that if something goes wrong i have a few friends over at the dealer that can hook me up, but mainly the mazda interior is so much better than the evo, quality, looks, and the way its sep up. i couldnt let the speed go, i stood still for a few minutes looking at it before making the decision and i just couldnt let her go.

I walked away from him actually...but I dont think he was modded...

I have a friend that has a silver one, and he refuses to race me, cause he doesnt want to lose to a Mazda. The AWD losses become a lot more parasitic when combined with Drag...

He got the Jump on me once and I reeled him in and passed him up...

Then it was dead even and I gained like 4 car lengths...

good choice staying with the speed. You dont need AWD in Florida anyways. Seeing as hoow you saw the price/insurance breaking the deal, it goes to show only people with daddy's money or whose parents pay their ******* rent can really afford an MR or STI in all honesty.
