Toyo T1S or Eagle F1 GS-D3?

the t1-r doesnt look as agressive as the t1-s looks to be less contact patch :(
second that... :(

but then i'm happier since t1-r isn't more agressive, nor more eagle f1-alike. :D

and why does the 'r' come after the 's'?

Hi twilight or anyone there, T1S seem to have a sort of mid to high pitch win-win noise at above 90KM/h, anyone had similar experience? or is it the 83W we got in NZ? or is it the NZ highway? thanks.

hmmm....i cant say that i hear any noise like that from my tyres...does it happen on all road surfaces? i know some surfaces are louder than others - maybe it's just that???

well, the only road i can drive at 90 is the highway, maybe it's the road?

i'll try some other (parts of the) highway later. (eekdance)

1, found both 83W and 87W "Reinforced" 205/45/R16 on Toyo's Japanese site:
http://www.toyojapan.com/new_tires/proxes_t1s/index8.html#

2, approved rim width for 205/45/R16 are 6.5 ~ 7.5, is it the reason that the front tire on stock 16*6 rim might look a bit flat (or rather, twisted) when turned full clock then parked on a downward slope? see the pic. the front tire had least 33 psi at the time.

i'm picky. :(

i dont think that's a problem, just a combination of the wheel moving, but the tyre having enough traction to keep it where it was

thanks twilight, really appreciate.

i'm working on my thesis thing, but can't write down one complete sentence, so i just spent a couple of hours browsing the forum. (hand)

btw, the tyres are really sticky and never slip. now it's time to consider some stiffer springs/sway bar to kill the body roll.

we are currently working on a front sway bar for the front... which i'd guess would be the same....

get yourself some part numbers from mazda (or whoever you need em from) and i'll have a look to see if your cars stuff is the same (being AWD etc)

AWD = all wheel drive?

no, mine is not an import. it's a NZ new sp20. the previous owner trade it for a mazda 3. i'll see what i can find out.

today i drove just above 100K on a curve says 75K. the body roll was killing me.

yeah keep an eye out for the whiteline sway bar set. arden (sabrelli) is going into whiteline to get a front and rear sway bar designed for us. i cant wait!

sounds nice. but i'm not sure if i can install them myself. i can't even find the right place to jack the car the other day, ended up leaving a mark on the bottom of the side skirt.

I have these
