How are General Exclaim uhp's? my buddys getting me a set for $350.... good or bad compared to the potenzas?

I've not heard anythhing about those particular tires, but the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo can be had for about $121 each ($484 for a set) and then there is a $50 rebate. The Hankooks have ranked very well in the couple tire tests I've seen...took 2nd behind the Dunlop Star Spec in Car & Drivers recent test.

I have heard they ride nice but have more sidewall flex. Better ride but less handling.
