AUTOX is a fine home for the MSP.

I personally do not want to see them lose a motor, because they get half assed info, or see what someone else, who has knowledge, tuning ability, and try to emulate it, and lose the engine.
Also, In light of the ammount of motors that have popped recently, I think it IS in peoples interest to build for more boost, before you boost more. Im glad you guys can boost over 12 PSI every day, and not crap your motor.
I do have a favor to ask tohugh, lets see your setups, and or your Boost gauges in action via a video. That way, you will prove your right, and we all can boost 15 PSI, nd not have to worry about it.![]()

Just those mods done to each car and the MSP with only a DP was pulling past the 10psi MSP.
The first issue anyone should address with a MSP is cooling charge air temps and removing exhaust gases as quick as possible. Then more boost can come in.

who is this directed towards?tddelsol said:allright this is dumb fmic cools intake charge=more hp
cai cools intake charge=more hp
new down pipe allows exhust to excape fasteer=more hp
more hp = more stress on the engine
how the **** does this keep u from blowing a motor the only things on your list that help prevent engine damage are colder plugs and high octane gas
then that doesn't say much for your intelligence. there's some good knowledge here, you just have to understand it.tddelsol said:the fact that it took 10 mins to read this whole post and im dumber because of it
use periods, please.tddelsol said:true im still adjusting to the whole new direction of the post but i guess a few blown motors will change alot hell it scared the piss out of me at first
What he's trying to say is WE ARE OLDBremertonMSP said:Hmm, I have all three, Catless DP, 10psi, and a K&N filter. By that theory, my car must be really fast!!J/K
The K&N did very little for performance. The DP made quite a bit of difference in spool up time. The car felt much quicker off the line when boost started to kick in. The 10psi made if feel like it was pulling so much harder through the gears.
I'm similar to Yashooa, in that I don't drive my car hard all the time. I like to do some spirited driving, but I don't spend much time at 10psi.
how much stress would be on the motor if you were just pumpin up the juice without any of these mods....i would think twice as much.tddelsol said:allright this is dumb fmic cools intake charge=more hp
