Welp, its been a great 6 month journey with my msp... well all except this last month were i am having to replace the motor.. I am going to be moving out on my own in a few months and really just cant afford this car anymore. So i'll be going upside down getting a new car, for lower payments etc... its not the end of the world.. im not worried about it.

i haven't decided what im going to get, but whatever it is.. needs to be under 10 grand, that way when i go under on my car the new car will still be under 15 - 16 grand leaving my payments below 300 at least.

So im trying to decide what i should get now.

i been looking at several different things i just cant decide.

i'll eventually figure it out.

anyways just wanted to let you guys know i wont be surfin the board no more.. no real reason to be here.. goodluck to you all.. enjoy the speed..

I know someone who is selling a 94 Integera GSR for 4 grand. It has a new Maaco paint job on it. TenzoR full stainless exhaust, neuspeed intake, header, stage II clutch, TenzoR 17in gunmetal wheels, shogun body kit. It is in massachussetts though. The car has 161K on it too. Also has the CL conversion (headlights)

ouch, that PR5 on eBay must of been hit hard b/c hte top strut brace is bent due to the wheel housing/strut mount is pushed back? Frame damage... expect to put a bunch of money into it to get it 'roadworthy' and more than likely never be safe again. Sucks to be in that position being that far upside down in a car. You could get a signature loan to cover the difference because more than likely no bank is gunn allow you to buy a <$10k car and finance $15-16k.... maybe look for an 88-95 Civic turbo to replace it?

Get a 240SX fastback, do the Sr20 swap, upgrade the internals and nothing on the street will be able to touch you. You can find a 240sx for about 2000(one that is in excellent condition) and another 2000 for the motor, and plus another 2000 for upgrades for the motor you are looking at $6000 and one fast ass car. Hell get the RB26DETT motor from the skyline and drop that into the 240. Somebody did that on 240sxforums.com and with only slicks, FMIC, BOV, Boost controller,Turbo Timer, and Guages they hit the low 11's!!!!!

you can get over 300whp reliably (record is over 400whp) on stock internals on an sr20, no need to upgrade those right away unless you just want to do it because the motor is out of the car. but that is a good option to consider if you don't need to drive much in winter.
i wouldn't go with an rb26dett swap though if i wanted to swap an rb in, the rb25det is a much easier swap and will make more than enough power

It's not fast, but they are fun and there is a Ken Style Body Kit that would make it look good and a factory supercharger on the way...
