Hey I had a 96 240sx too. Maybe I do have a thing for girly cars.alexlitov said:I like how everybody says that it's a chicks car, but 240sx is a real man's car.
Back in 1995, over 70% of 240SX buyers where females....
No, I don't even subscribe, but I do enjoy reading it occasionally. After reading the results, it does seem that his turbo was way too big, but he didn't excel in anything. I know it's just a magazine & who knows how smart this guy actually is, but they said he had every article ever written about a Miata & designed the mod setup just for the USCC.insanoman2005 said:because those contests are for all around scores...miata would excell in several catagories IF the car had been set up properly...
Is SCC mag your bible?? That's sad.
The guy who had the miata used too large of a turbo and had lag problems...
That doesn't mean that the guy could drive. Remember that most "tuners" never drive their cars to the full potential. I don't think the USCC is really relevant to what we are discussing here except for the fact that it has a Miata in it. This is going to be a daily driven Miata...not a trailer queen that only sees race gas and "R" compound tires.Black Majik MSP said:No, I don't even subscribe, but I do enjoy reading it occasionally. I was acting 15 again. I have seen some killer Miatas...I_Boost said:It's real simple Brian. If you don't like it please stay out of my thread.
Also, how many MSP's were in their USCC? People always say how one car kicks ass because there are a few people pushing infinity horsepower, but most people aren't going to get those numbers. It's like people saying their car is cool cause someone ran an 11 second quarter mile in a highly modded one, but they're never going to get that fast so who cares, you know? What I'm saying is, maybe the miata doesn't have as much potential as the other cars in order to get big numbers etc, but most people would never come close to needing that level of power etc.Black Majik MSP said:My only comment...if the Miata is so great (not denying that it is...I love em, but they are too small for someone 6'5"), why did it finish last in SCC's Ultimate Street Car Challenge?
