BBASS here. Glad to hear everyone's still rockin' the Protege Song. Did anyone ever do a remix? I still have all the individual WAV files, all zipped up and ready to send out to anyone who wants to do a mash-up. Feel free to email me a thebbass@gmail.com if you're interested.

In related news, everyone's favorite Mazda-themed rap song was recently featured on a local radio station's "Pick It or Flick It" segment in which listeners call in and vote to either pick the song for heavier rotation or flick it to the curb. Luckily, fans, the song was 'picked', and is getting played occasionally. Pretty cool, considering I'm just a loser college guy with way too much time and a really bad vehicle.

I do the same thing except I have the zoom zoom song and the Protege song burned onto a CD. I play the CD over & over at car shows and drives.

I usually end up loosing the CD to another Protege owner cause they want a copy.

I go home and burn another copy for the next show/drive.

Exactly. You gotta drive a Mazda if you in it to win it, it goes from zero to sixty in about five minutes...

One time last year I was on Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach rockin that out with my girlfriend (ex now) sitting next to me, shes laughin as I'm rollin by all these fools with Civic's...they got the Civic Nation, but we got a song about our rides! Whos better now?!?!?
