Haha, not a soccer fan?
BTW, the penalties on that Itally game today were insane, took it too far, especially the biting crap.

Haha, I love to play soccer. But I don't really watch TV other than Netflix.
Just being an ass, again. Resume your conversation.
But if anyone wants to kick the soccer ball around sometime let me know.
Soccer is dumb...
That's the other possibility but I really don't know if there's animosity there or not. Germany is probably the least "emotional" of the group and that could help us. For once I think it'll benefit us to start a bit tentative. If the game turns into a pissing match we're likely to lose. Germany really doesn't have one player like Ronaldo who's off day can work to our advantage.I'm not sure how it will play out, Germany is in the driver's seat as far as goal diff so they may come out really conservative or go balls to the wall to beat Klinsman
I heard they kill people over soccer there.that's why they kicked me out of the country

I look at soccer the same way I look at most other stick and ball sports. I don't care a whole heck of a lot about them. I'll watch them if they're on somewhere, but don't follow the sport very much. I know that several of you guys talking about it are soccer fans year in, year out. What I don't like are the fly-by-nighters who give next to two s**** about it 3 years, then all of a sudden are into it 150% during the World Cup. Those people boggle my brain.
I didn't mean that in jest. It's a VERY big deal in some places. Wasn't there a "Soccer War" as well?Sigh... unfortunately yes. '94 world cup, Colombian player accidentally scored against his own team, was killed because that caused someone to lose a bet. Also, most of the people that go to the stadiums to watch the local games are lower class, which means they're drunk and or high on whatever the **** they can get a hold of. Fights break out, and sometimes people are killed. My family isn't rich by any means so I don't consider myself above others, but over half the population is lower class so unfortunately they do lots of stupid things. Even now people are getting hurt when they go out to celebrate, so stupid.

+3, and I can add watching/knowing about racing/racing teams/racers into this as well.I've never been into sports. Watching them that is. All my friends know all the names/stats/details/mom's maiden name/who they lost thir v card too/ and it all. I just never cared I loved playing sports I just don't care to know about the people doing it better than I haha. Rather do than study it

Thursday could prove interesting. We're guaranteed through with a win or a tie. Same with Germany. Makes me think the game could be very tentative. That is, both teams playing back until one starts applying more pressure.
Everyone one does what Zusi did. They did add a minute because it was 4 before the substitution.
Of course you can use my chant!

I know. Don't know about soccer wars, but from what I've seen its really plain stupid behavior from people who are drunk or high. I think justifying this kind of behavior by saying they're passionate about soccer is just bulls***
