I'm sure I understand what he is trying to do, but I'm thinking that the problem with the GoPro is going to be that it only shoots in wide angle. A DSLR might be a better option.

well... this afternoon just got exponentially better!!

just realized i could access my Satellite Box/DVR via my work computer and im going to watch live TV and or a movie this afternoon since i have no work, and have asked for things to do, and no one has anything LOL

Our son has had a youtube channel for over a year now and has been doing Lego MOCs but is now asking to get another as he wants to start uploading gaming vids. We have an Xbox 360 currently and an ancient camcorder from the *gasp* 90's that uses 8mm tapes. hahaha Anyway I've been looking at getting a GoPro since I'm familiar with them and wanted to get some opinions. I've been looking at other hi-def camcorders also but keep coming back to the GoPro as it seems more versatile.

There is this software thing that you plug into the xbox and it records what is on the screen. Much better and you don't have to have random parts of your house in the picture. Unless you just want a gopro

Hmmmmm, I think this is what I'll need to fit the bill. I'll have to search the net to find out more about it. Getting a GoPro would be cool but not sure what else I'd use it for?

When I was doing HVAC we had Robinair vacum pumps that we used on A/C units they seemed to work well.

I do too. Walked into work, ten minute walk outside from car to desk. get situated at my desk, then I get a text from a coworker saying my lights are on... Walk back out in the arctic shut lights off walk back in and attempt to get warm again.

Fuel economy standards and other new required safety standards essentially is what killed the program. I believe they continue to hope to get the economies up enough to be able to support a mazdaspeed unit eventually, but that may or may not happen. I doubt it will, considering the new standards that were just passed this week, including the navigation standard and the intervehicle grid communications.

That and the guy I talked to said there was something in the works about changing hands all together of who develops the "mazdaspeed" stuff and the name was changing to something with raceway in it. The auto show in Chicago starts tomorrow so I'll ask some of the Mazda peeps there.
