The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

just gray and cloudy as usual in Columbus

Very light snow in Bath/Fairlawn, it's not even falling, just moving all around like a snow globe.

For some reason, she doesn't want a P5 (grounds for divorce right there, lulz), it has to be a manual, low miles and no older than a 2002 (for the loan).

But thanks for looking, Anthony!

Marlon, she drives a ton, ~45k miles in the last 3.5 years.

That's less than 15K per year, which most leases are 15k or less per year...

triple edit- I'll just let her pick out whatever car she wants. It's her money, her choice, her repair shop. I just told her if she gets something I approve of (like the RSX) I'll work on it. Otherwise, I'm not touching it. We got into huge fights about the Audi because I told her before she bought it I wasn't going to work on it. Dames. haha

Okay, no more derailments from me about Tessa's car, back to F&F chat. :)

I wouldn't mind driving a TDI. Especially with 40+ mpg on the highway. It'd be great to not have to fill my tank 1-2 times per week.

I love my TDI; I been averaging about 47 mpg, but this last tank with mostly city driving and cold weather I only got 39 mpg...but still! I have an 05 Golf, with as much torque as a stock MSP and cargo room as an MS3 with the mpg of a hybrid...I can't really see too many downsides! ...well it's not a mazda... the heated seats are really nice in the winter too ;)

Out here... intermittent light snow, no accumulation. Wet roads.

That's awesome! I'm on my second tank of gas in my new STi... First was 16.8 mpg this one is probably going to be around 20 when it's all said and done. :D

got my review, boss is happy and if things keep going the same way I'll be put in a 'leadership' position (since there can't be two managers) sometime this year, maybe that'll come with another raise but for now I got was I was expecting :)

I'm too lazy to look, but any guesses as to what autox class the MSP would be in? I wanna get a couple of events to keep the Mazdaspeed membership, get used to the car and use it at the Pro Solo so I'll need new magnets

I'm getting 17 mpg according to the driver info thingy.

F prepared, I believe.

I'm getting 21mpg out of the Civic. 1.8L in a 2400 lb car... should be a lot better
