The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

^^^I found it throught a quick search of the Android marketplace but my phone is linked to my gmail account so....

I thought mine was too? They made us sign up for a gmail account when we activated them at the store. I just don't use that email for anything. Hell, I couldn't even tell you what it is off hand without having to look it up somehow. lol

Hooray I'll get to meet some of you peoples at the Winking Lizard meet! :D

Kind of out of the blue, but Evan and I were talking today about how you should turn your 2 into a Turbo 2 like the one at SEMA. That would be a pretty sweet garage with a Turbo 2 and an LS Miata!

Anyone doing anything for Fat Tuesday?

This church down the street from where I work is having an event/dinner, including a Great Lakes Beer Tasting! I was told Christmas Ale would be present! Anyways, they are dumping a load of money into my store, which translates into a bigger bonus for me, so I thought I would support the community and try and make it to this. I think I am off Tuesday anyways.

Basically you can dine-in or carry out. I'm told they will come out to your car, get your order, and then give you the food. $14 per plate + beer. In Utopia, we roll in as a crew and make a "car show" out of it by eating at our cars. It's gonna be 50 degrees!

Anyways, I've attached a PDF of the flyer. Sorry I couldn't just post it as an image. If there is some interest for this, let me know. I know it is last second.

mmmm sounds good. I'm not really religious or anything of that nature, and never really "celebrated" any of that...

There was a guy on this board that was coming out with a turbo kit, priced around $5k. Ehhhhhhhh. If it was going to be all quality parts like he said, I might have thought about it.
I'm going Saturday morning to talk to a guy I know at a exotics dealer in Akron about getting a used SRT-8 Jeep. If I go that direction, what little parts are on the 2 will come off to go to one of the few people I know that bought a 2 (lol, mainly because of experiencing mine..) and it will get traded. ;) The 06-08s have come down in price a little due to the 2012 coming out :)

I'm eating paczkis due to my polishness and getting wasted on alcohols and foods
WIN!!

for the price id rather have an SS Trailblazer, similar performance and can be found for a good bit cheaper than the srt8 jeeps can from what i remember when i looked at them a couple months ago,

100+k mileage srt8 was about 18-20 grand still. at that same 18-20grand i was finding SS trailblazers with anywhere from 30-60k miles on them

Thomas has some nice stuff! I used to live in the Portage Lakes area for 3 years, so I'd drive past there and veer into the other lane because I was staring inside almost daily. hahaha

And yea, TBSS FTW!!! SRT-8's are almost a second faster in the 1/4 stock vs. stock, but there was always a WAY bigger aftermarket for TBSS's, since they had the same LS motors as other GM performance cars. I think SRT-8's have the aftermarket support now though, I've seen a few crazy ones in recent times. Mid 11 second one at the Flashlight drags in Zelienople, PA, and I know John Shepherd has a NASTY one. He builds transmissions for DSM's and EVO's, and has the worlds fasted AWD DSM.

Some have seen it, but here's my brother's TBSS. RWD, 13.30's I beleive...

TGIF!!! I'd drive the TB SS or the Jeep SRT-8 but would much rather have one of these in the garage.
