Josh, Ivan and I are going to do some work on the Probe saturday if you want to bring her over and we can solder up those wires. Or I can swing by your place and lend a hand and solder/soldering iron. But if I come to your place I'm going to bug you to remove the sticker residue from the Mazda emblem off the Milly. Just sayin...

at least you can sleep at night with both a clear conscious and knowing the guy isn't standing outside your bedroom window! Good plan you got there and hope the quick fix works for ya. And part out??? How much for the fogs?
just hope she remembers agreeing to it when she comes down off the drugs or else you may need some drugs for the beatdown she gives you. Lol most of my mods i've used the 'it's safer...it's broke so i should upgrade to something better that will last longer...i need new tires so why not buy new wheels too (actually did this...broke even on my former tribute wheels and paid about the same for the mx-5 wheels with good tires for what i would have paid for tires alone)'. Moral of the story is on how you present the mods.

Welp....the auto in Cbus was crap, so the winner is the Toledo 5sp.!!!
The auto was FAR from worth $8500, I wouldn't have given him more than $7500 for it. The interior was TRASHED. Hadn't been wiped down or vacuumed in forever, and everyone who got into the car dragged their feet across the kick panels. I could tell the rear gate had been repaired and painted, then he tells me it got rear ended before, so I checked the rear body out and it still had damage to it. Pass. side quarter had some rust starting, as well as the insides of the hatch, and the pass. front door. Also had an oil leak somewhere, cause the bottom of his block/pan/whatever was covered in oil, and there was a little puddle on the driveway.
The only thing it had going for it, were maybe the parts. Magnaflow cat back, Injen intake, drilled/slotted rotors and EBC pads, and the rims, which I could've sold to make some money back. Overall, I got a bad feeling from the car, as well as the owner. He was pretty much a drunk, and might've been drunk when we were there from the way he was acting! lol I didn't even ask to test drive it...I basically just said I wasn't interested and left.
We hit up Chipotle, which was right around the corner from his house, and before we left there, I called the other guy back to let him know I'd take the car. At least that one was clean and well taken care of. Like I said, I could deal with the imperfections I listed for the $8000 price tag. He even bought a carfax for it and sent it to me. lol We've got it setup for Saturday morning, but I'm going to hit him up and ask if he needs a deposit or something. The whole 2 hour trip back, I kept having bad flashes of him getting a higher offer on the car and telling me he has to take the other offer. hahaha
We can do that if you haz da time! You can meet me at my house, we can either roll your car, or mine so you can get your fill of P5 driving for the time being (as long as it's not wet out, lulz) to Toledo, and I can do that for you when we get back to the A-K.

I was actually surprised he didn't smoke in it, because he lit one up while I was standing inside his house when I first got there. It's been a while since I've been to someone's house where they smoked inside....ACK!
He also told me on the phone earlier today, that he hauls woodworking stuff all the time, and how he takes his 10 and 11 year old boys camping in it. Like...need a truck much, guy???

Yea, fun indeed! Sucks that I wasted $25 in gas, and 5 hrs of my life on that venture, but at least I know the Toledo one is the right one for me now.
And yea, smart phones are a trip! We've had ours for a year and a half, and we're probably still not using them to their full potential. They're starting to act up on us though, so we're gonna get new ones in May when we're eligible to upgrade. We don't buy phones unless there's a BOGO sale...lol

I used my discount through Home Depot since I won't be there much longer and got her's for free and mine was $100, saved about $150 over going to the store. I usually ony get whatever is free but I figured after close to 9 years with the same phone i can splurge.

Hey, 'free is for me'. lol My daughter is currently saving babysitting money for an iphone for her upgrade in July. When it comes time, we'll pitch in some. For now though I've given her the 'if dad is paying for it, he's not going to pay $200 for an iphone when he can get 'x' phone for free'. lol Figured that will give her some good incentive to save. What teenager wants the dreaded free phone?
Just downloaded it. Due to my limited data I won't be using it a lot but on a few occassions I'll log into the site at work to see vids/pics that are blocked by IT.
