The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

yeah what's up with that?

Idk, I'm tempted to say something to them, but I know it will just blow up because they will take it the wrong way because they have that "My s*** don't stink" mentality and it will end up being a big ordeal. They will leave the forums and curse Mazda owners everywhere and so-on...

Indeed. The entire body sits high on BJs. I was curious so I measured ground to pinchweld on my MSM and on my P5, and Evan's P5 for that matter. Both P5's are lowered on Blues and S-techs. The MSM is about a half an inch lower based on that measurement than the Proteges... and the MSM is on stock suspension.

LOL

after you told me that i decided to measuer mine... lol

um... they seem to make descent products for a descent price.

the similar parts for the ms3 are more expensive.

the problem is that todays protege owners are kinda short on cash.

Won't argue against that, but poor business plans are poor business plans. ;)

i'd be like telling dub slammed cars are stupid

He may not have actually said it, but it's what I read. Thats all that really matters.

I agree with the iSport topic earlier. I signed up for a rear spoiler lip group buy but bailed when the final product was close to $300 for just a little lip. Pffsht... Nah.

yeah, if they can do an entire roof cap for $600, how can that little thing be half the price or more?

Ya, I really want that rear window spoiler, but I don't think I can justify spending $350 on it, right now... Maybe if I wasn't in school and what not.

I think I actually just officially talked myself outta the spoiler & diffuser for anytime soon... Wheels come first. Thx for being down to earth and on the same page as me, everyone. ;)

Took the words right out of my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it was ~$200 I would probly get it in a couple weeks, lol.

Not yet, MonkeyAss. I want to soon though, that and window deflector thangs like yours. Maybe next week. My mum sent me a letter via airmail this week (she lives in Israel) with a letter simply saying "Random act of kindness - Love you" with a $500 check in it. Cha-ching! Haha!

I recommend getting in-channel window visors. The stick on kind look cheap and ricey, IMO. I have Weathertechs, & love em.

yeah, i would think it would be less material than a hood and less complex than a trunk, but i don't know the process of making CF...yet

i have the stick on kind, came with the car, never really thought about them looking ricey but glad i have them

Steve, do you have a link to pics of your hood and trunk? I bet that looks awesome with the yellow MP3.

Last summer I blew a lot of cash on my P5. I even sold my acoustic upright bass to buy my Enkeis. But wheels will always make a car look 10x better. Even old beat up Accords with 15" American Racing wheels make me do a double take when they go passed. Haha

edit for more info because I don't want to be a post *****-
The AVS stick on kind are $50 new from Autozone down the street. Whereas the WeatherTech ones are $150 and have to be ordered. I don't know if I can justify spending 3x as much for such a similar product. Though I'm sure the WeatherTechs are nicer, a lot of my friends have the AVS and are happy with them.
