The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

those are actually really good baby pictures. normally the kid is all greasy and crying and whatnot.

Good work.

It's an early car Wes, so it was a B6. But still even then... I never understood swapping a bulletproof bottom end for a... bulletproof bottom end?

Ahh, they're almost the same thing, the B6 and BP, from what I understand. I'd still take the SR, it's more bulletproof-er! 3-400whp safely on stock internals with a good tune floats my boat. :D

Nate, that's probably the best looking new baby I've seen before. Like mentioned above, most of them look gross. You done good, kid!

Happy B-Day Fabio!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for the kind words!
Sorry about not giving any updates, but it was a long long crazy day. After about 29 hours of labor Kennedy Paige Duncan was born at 5:16 a.m. on 3/15. Amber did amazing and is doing great.

And so is the BP. There are more than a few 350 hp, stock internal BP's...

if i blow the fsde in my car, im going to swap to a bp and get a much smaller pulley for my supercharger and aim for 14psi.

I'm not trying to start a pissing contest here. I mean I'll admit that I'm biased, I just like the SR better. I haven't seen any BP's put down north of 1k hp, either.

Looks like ill be busy this weekend

Baller!

Can anyone translate txt spch into English?

Edit: Congrats Nate on the new addition to your family! It is good to hear everything is going well for you!

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything but I often wonder how difficult/easy it is for some people to type like that? I mean, it takes me twice as long to read posts like that because it's like a riddle of words. But I guess to some people it's just easier. I don't know. I'm old. (shrug)

For me it stems from my military career. There was a requirement to be able to type a set amount of WPM with very few mistakes. Shorthand was ok, as long as it was within regulations, but making concise and detailed reports in a short period of time was vital. (i.e. msg instead of message, w/ instead of with, min or max, w/o for without, or govt for government....)

If you were typing a real-time message of super-secret-squirrel mission importance, and typed culd(could), sum(some), or any other of today's slang, you would never hear the end of it from everyone in your chain of command. This is also the same reason I tend to use a double space after the end of each sentence as well as the use of multiple periods. The multiple use of periods in a typed msg or chat situation signified the "over" you would hear voice communications.

Lol. I've toned down my use of words like that on forums and in text messages unless I'm being funny or I know the other person can understand/respond in the same way. I can read it just fine it's kind of annoying.
