The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

anybody else see the #'s for the Mustang?

V-6: 300 hp and 280 lb-ft.
EcoBoost 2.3: 310 hp and 320 lb-ft
5.0-liter Coyote V-8: 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque

Kinda thought the Ecoboost would have a bigger gap from the V-6 from factory. I think 300hp out of a v-6 is impressive. Especially compared to thier old modular motors like the 4.6 V-8 that could barley put out 280 hp

that eco boost has a lot left in it. I bet with some breathing mods and a tune that thing will be a beast and easily over 400

Prior models of the V6 were rated @ 305 HP, all of the models are up in weight as well.

Someone just sent me the video of my car on the dyno at Smokeys way back when lol.

Still need to figure out why the clutch is grabbing up top (toilet)

That's why I'm surprised they didn't make a bigger gap at the factory. I was thinkin 330-ish, although I'm sure the 40 ft lbs of torque are noticeable.

Rednecks like fat chicks?

Just a reminder, as couple of us will be at the Bier Haus to harass Pablo while he's working tonight around 8pm.

17692 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136

I'll be going straight from work, so I'll either be early and sitting at the bar, boozing or be late And see you guys there

Right on. Peaches is saving a table for Will, Patrick and I so you're welcome at our table. We'll be there about 8pm.

I was asked by the owners to work security tonight, I'm throwing all you rowdy bastards out, including that so called bartending 'Merican, Pablo

Did you make a decision on buying one?

Wife still wants one, but financially we're going to wait. She talked to her dad & he talked her out of it. Maybe if they decide to put some different engine options & some other things, we may consider it.

I raised up her 6 last week & she's been quite happy. She can get in & out of it easier. If anyone wants a set of Mazdaspeed lowering springs for a 2003-2007 sedan, make me an offer, lol

Maybe if I ever get the car running.

We were looking as well, but financially it would put us in too much of a bind for me to be able to sleep at night.

I would have liked to have a diesel in my CX5.
It seems kind of dumb that Mazda runs a diesel powered vehicle in the premier U.S sports car racing series and doesn't even have a single diesel powered road car in the U.S.

California is the issue at the moment! Emisisons are very strict there and the do not want to have to make extensive changes to the engine based on one state. The diesel is coming by the Fall.

This weekend I was going to go to STL for a friend's baby shower, but my son caught a cold the past two days, and we decided to cancel that. The plan is now to relax for once.

Cali can eff off! I figured within 30 days of buying ours they would release the diesel. A couple of months after our purchase is ok I suppose.
