I liked how sometimes the burning hot engines would just fall out! That's always safe!

yeah we would have the duck and cover rule, someone would yell engine (or something of that nature) and you would pray you didnt get hit.

I often like dodging caustic burning materials that can potentially burn my face off... its envigorating..

That's what I'm talking about...remember bb gun wars, with pump shot rifles? We used to add bottle rockets into the arsenal! Even made homemade bazookas to fire them from, out of PVC.


It's a wonder that I'm still alive and in 1 piece...

please, when we got old enough to drive, we would shoot bottle rockets out of the car @ eachother.... Until someone had one go off in his dad's brand new diesel F350 limited.

Before that we would paintball in 20 degree weather just to make it mroe "interesting"

BTW blank range shot to the leg when youre already freezing = painful + nice grapefruit sized welt.

Homemade digit danger FTW! For my friends and I, it was lemon hand grenades. The house I grew up in seemed to have an infinite supply of lemons in the trees in the back yard.

1. Get an armful of lemons
2. Poke a hole in the lemon with Dad's screwdriver
3. Insert a bundle of black-jacks or a single M-80
4. Light and throw at each other across the street while hiding behind cars
5. DO NOT wait too long once fuse is lit

Oh yeah ... kicking around a lit gasoline-soaked tennis ball is loads of fun as well ... until it rolls under a car.

We did the homemade boom-booms, by cutting the powder out of Estes rockets and other fireworks, pouring the powder into baby food jars, and adding fuses. Today that's terrorist activities--making WMDs and s***.
