Tell me something I didn't know about my CX-30

So I ask everyone. What's something I didn't know about my CX-30 or what can my CX-30 do that I didn't know about?

Here's something I didn't know my CX-30 could do...

If you want to open your windows just before you get in press the unlock button on your fob and hold it on the 4th press. The windows will go down while you hold it. If the car has been parked in the sun for a while it helps get the cabin a bit cooler before you get in. Unfortunately you can't close them remotely.

CX-30 MEMORY SEAT SYNCHRONICITY

A function which I see as the KODO philosophy is the synchronization of the driver seat memory with the key fob. When you open the door, the seat, side mirror (and HUD) starts to move to the position preset on the key.

To do this, with the ignition key ON, press the SET button until you hear a beep. Press the key fob unlock button until you hear another beep. You are all set. Do the same with the key of your spouse. Set the desired seat position and repeat the above steps.The setting 1 and 2 on the dashboard can be substituted with the 3rd and 4th driver. If you a single or only diriver, you can put the second key to sleep (save battery) by pressing and holding the lock button after 4 times. Do the same to wake it up again.

The seat memory function was already available on German cars long before, but I am not certain if the seats could be synced with the key.

Worked for me. Count it out. Also you have to HOLD the button down on the 4th press.

Nope. I tried again and no go. Must work on certain trims only. I even confirmed, on the remote, that the LED by the lock button lights up each time I press the unlock button.

That's odd, do you have a GS or a GT trim. I have the GT non turbo and it works.
