tekkies car build

Is that return line going to work? Looks like to me that the oil is going to have

to travel up before it goes into the pan. (boom07) Is there any way that it can be

mounted on the inside of the downpipe?

You have shown yourself to be a man of impeccable taste, as well as tremendous ability and vision - but for the love of all that is holy, change out that Fram before you fire things up. - http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilterstudy.html

how do you think the oil gets in the turbo? if its being forced in then obviously it will be forced out ;)

lol the fram is just there to start the motor let it idle for a few mins and then do an oil change with a mobil 1 :)

Good job - and well ... it is orange :D

i have an idea.... why don't we put all that in my car to make sure it runs properly? after all that time and hard work, there's no sense putting it in your car until it's been properly tested and broken in? :D

haha, awesome stuff - i am sooooo jealous... and i'm with khaosman ;)

it will soon be back together, I installed the J spec intake cam, ran the hoses for the fuel lines, oil and tranny cooler etc..

I had to take the speed sensor rings off my old axles and put them on the dss ones which was fun. For whatever reason the dss ones would not allow for them to go on so I had to grind down the inside of the rings to get them to fit, so that was a nice waste of time :( but its on there now so its all good

basically the engine is ready to drop back in I just need to doulbe check everything before I drop it in and then start hooking it back up.

but I still have to install the tilton tranny pump, the oil & tranny cooler, the MAM fuel rail, my new gauges, my new IC and piping etc... so we all know how well things go lol

so by the end of next weekend it "might" finally be ready to start if I can get 2 solid days of work done, then I have to go get a custom midpipe made, install the cat, flex pipe, electric cutout 02 bungs etc..

then after that I will be ripping out the Emanage, dropping in the AEM and the RC 750CC injectors and going for some tuning

(alright)(drive2)

man, which guage is that oil pressure sender for?? My stewart warner was a monstrous thing, i had no choice but to remote mount it because it would've been wayy too much weight to just hang off of the block

great build though man, its inspirational

Nice man. It is cleaner and much easier to do the install when the engine is out of the car like that. You can double check things much easier.

I look foreward to your finished piece.

That boost solenoid looks exactly the same as the Unichip one... except yours has an AEM sticker on it. :P

nice fuel rail!

How long did it take to get all your stuff from MAM?

Did thise braided water lines come from MAM or did you buy those seperate? MAM never gave me any, said it was not needed. so I bought an earls setup for an SR20DET.

If you have a second set of wheels don't bother with azenis, that is a great STREET tire. spring for hoosiers or 710's.

how long it took me does not really matter, it changes all the time so if you plan to order something your best bet is to check first

no it did not come with those lines, and its not "needed" BUT in my case running that much heat it will be quite beneficial

yeah those tires were just for autox last year, I am going with R compounds once I start running again

Tekkie! Thats a bad ass turbo mani! I wish I could afford that, hehe

Everything looks great! Now lets see this thing in the car!
