Tail of the Dragon Trip??

So Ashlee has been having some schedule issues, and unable to post up lately...but she wanted me to ask if everyone from TN and AL would be interested in taking a trip to her area to go up to the Tail of the Dragon and run it as a group. I personally think its a great idea.

She was thinking like the beginning of August or anytime in September, which works great for me, gives me time to catch up on bills and such and make an attempt to get my MSP kit on my car, and have it painted.

Its over by the NC/TN border just past Gatlinburg, its quite a ways from you MSDemon2, if you don't care and want to still go, let us know I personally know I'd like to go still, but don't know when, I'm fixing my car today too so hopefully it works Im tired of driving my wifes Saturn Ion lol.

Uh, I've modded it to hell.(ughdance)

Now it runs either slow, or WOT, no in between. It's either warp speed or nothin.

Also having a lean issue when the AFC and J&S are switching over. We're gonna try and tune it some more tonight at the shop.

We'll see, I'm about to just go full stand alone engine management, and say F it.

AFC's don't work on our cars, the ECU learns around it. I learned that back when I was in Iraq. The only way to go with these things is to go with a StandAlone EMS. Let us know if you find a good deal on one.

Uh, you're mistaken.


There is an AFC that works on our cars. Mine was fine till I went further with mods. There's only one though, the Split Second AFC, or commonly known around here as the DSM AFC.

Oh no s***? How much did you spend on it? I have heard about those, doesn't ProtegeGarage sell them? I didn't know they were not like the Apexi controllers. Every other person Ive talked to said that the Apexi's were junk on our cars and that unless we went EMS that it was impossible to tune the car at all. Thank you for correcting me, I had no idea! s*** now that I know, I think I'll go get me one, my car runs like ass!
