Subwoofer Stopped Working!

My amplifier is working correctly, however the connection for the subwoofer must be damaged because the sub is the only thing not working. I used a voltmeter and it wasn't even live. Can anyone tell me what the problem here might be?

Yeah, I checked the terminals, and there's nothing. Are the Kenwood parts included in the vehicles warranty? I have the extended warranty, so does this mean that all of the Kenwood parts are coverred?

This is a very easy fix. Simply reset the Kenwood, read the owners manual for precise how to.

Just to conclude this ordeal. So after finding out that my sub stopped working, I checked the sub terminals on the amp, but only the sub terminals. I then figured that the amp was ruined so I took it out and went out and bought a new one. I installed the new Pioneer 300W amp, just to see that it wasn't working either. So then I did what I should have done from the start...use a voltmeter on all of the terminals, and the wires. Well what do ya know, the "power" wire from the deck was shorted out. Yay! So I returned the amp and now I have to rip out the old wire and replace it. Now the lesson learned here is don't work ahead of yourself. Think ahead and work towards that...or else you end up waisting your vacation!

My sub has also stopped working, I brought my car into the dealership and the service person said that I had to bring it back because they needed to do some testing to see if its the deck of sub. She said they checked the current and it was really low going to the sub. They wanted to do some more testing and they said it was a 45 min job for the tear down. She also said that she didnt want to give a new deck cause they all have refurbished ones and they are no good.

There is a fuse under the hood by the battery for the sub power wire. Check it out I bet it is blown.
