Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C

IIRC the 03 evo 8 in this country had a similar feature, though not as automatic as that intercooler sprayer sounds. I believe it did have a separate resevoir. I have heard of others simply rerouting their windshield spray nozzles to the intercooler and filling the tank with water. Could be a cheap solution for you MS3ers if you wanted to go that route.

Me likes a STi! Only I dont have 35000+ to buy one :( .. As for the sprayer, I like it! They took a picture of it spraying, did you see that?

they need to go the sedan model. i love my sti and will prob drive suby's for the rest of my life. so make the sti not ugly woot

I know right?! This whole crazy fad with hatchbacks is just ridiculous!!! I wouldn't mind seeing a 2-door hatchback with a front facia of an Impreza, or just squash down a sedan Impreza into a 2-door - making it like a new age 22b, that would be primetime.

All I know is the new style hatch STi is garbage, and though it makes a hair more power, there is way better things Subaru could have done with the body/cosmetics of the new model.

I still want, and will have a WRX someday - though my eyes are only for a bug-eye 02-03 model, but I would settle for anything up to 06.

neat car... terribly written article.... 'check out the wheel arches for the brembos?' (?) 'tach spins high and hard' WTF?

.... newly fitted ball-bearing design reduces friction inside the turbocharger to improve throttle response.....'

i'm confused on this one... would it really improve throttle response that much? don't most turbos, regardless of design spin pretty freely? and if they didn't, would it be anything noticeable? let me know if i'm way off on this....

i guess i know what he is trying to say, but silly wording. maybe something got lost in translation....

it could also be me being a picky, stubborn, grumpy old bastard today, according to mrs. squidmo.... :)

There is a tank in the trunk, and you simply fill it up when it gets low.

There is a light in the dash that lights up when its spraying.

Please follow the post auto news guidelines. Thanks

no thanks...BMW 135i please.

EVOs and STI's in the past have already featured the intercooler sprayer. This is nothing new.

Didnt know that. First I have seen it, but not a big evo, or sti watcher. Thought it was an interesting idea. You never know maybe some vendor will develop one for our cars someday.
