strobes?

anyone know a good place to get strobes that i can place anywhere??? some that are actually a descent price instead of the $30 price that most of them have..

don't get those cheap ass baby strobes. Get some real strobes. I have a Nova ETN8150 150 watt strobe power supply firing 8 strobe heads (4 front/4 rear). Thats the kinda sh!t you need. Unless its for the interior, then I say carry on.

I got the power supply new off eBay for $200. and the strobe heads cost $30 each locally. strobes-r-us

Whelen makes a very good setup, as my dad's a cop and he runs those on the city car. Able2 is what the dept is switching to next year due to some contract, so I'll see how those perform. The cheap ones look just that, cheap. *Very* cheap. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone considering strobes not be cheap and get the good stuff. You're dealing with very little lights that put out a lot of light, so don't skimp on the setup. You'll spend more on replacement strobe heads if you do try to save money right now.
