CV Axle Intermediate Shaft Separation

Has anyone had trouble separating the intermediate shaft from the rest of the axle on the passenger side?

Read both Manuals and it looks like there is a clip on the INT side that connects to the rest of the axle. There is a light circular spring retainer piece that secures a seal on the INT bearing but it dosent have much force. Is there a circlip anywhere ?

Seems to be just a spline tolerance fit into the INT shaft and a clip.

Any tips would be nice, thanks!
