that's the depth, no limit to actual size, right?

Exactly. Most people are just gasket matching, but I took the gasket and cut it out a little more too and then matched to that. I'm not sure how much difference it really made, but the car revs a lot better above 5,000RPM than it did without it. It really shows in the dyno curves how the A/F ratio is killing my power up top. At peak HP I was running about 12/1 and the HP kept tapering slightly off after that as my A/F kept getting richer.

time for EMS?

I've got the MPI, but I haven't played with it yet. I datalogged the 3 dyno pulls so I may be able to adjust a little bit from that, but it would'nt do much good since I really need to adjust it in real time while it's under load on the dyno and I can zero in on each RPM/load field.

no, except for update/backdate, which does us zero good.

those are good numbers...it looks like a ~20% improvement, right? i seem to remember stock P5s putting down 105-110whp? do you know approximately what rpm that peak was at? if so, you can calculate a rough torque number.

i'll be interested to see how much improvement comes from the tuning.

Damn good numbers for NA. And I think stock it's closer to 100....

It probably peaked around 6,000 rpm. The only thing you can do to the trannies is install LSD.

Great numbers! Tune that beast and put some big numbers up like twilight...

I was browsing a thread about brakes and saw people mentioning they upgraded the master cylinder to a 929's. Have you tried this? It probably isn't FSP legal though, now that I think about it.

I thought about it, but never tried it. I never really felt like the brakes needed much fiddling with other than good pads and SS lines.

Cool :D I'm going to order the speed bleeders here shortly so once I get those and a nice day, I'll throw on the new pads and lines.

My eagerness to race grows by the day... the damn LSD on the living room table isn't helping either. Two months and two days til the first event, how about you? hehe, almost seems too close. I still need to get my wheels, clutch, flywheel, AND install all that junk, (confused)

It will sneak up on you. I'll be at VIR's Patriot Course on Feb. 18th with NASA, so I'm getting excited about that. Hopefully I'll be able to tune a little before then since I could use the extra power out there more so than a smaller parking lot.
